  1. Model Roundup has been taking preorders for a while now... http://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/saljr-101.htm
  2. Speaking of chrome seats, I remember an AMT kit having custom chrome seats w/ non-plated inserts...maybe the custom parts for the '65 Riviera or '65 Grand Prix..
  3. Got a bunch of Bronco parts from Olson Brothers and a bunch of Bronco parts from Fireball Modelworks.
  4. Pretty boring..and the tires have been previously available in the whitewall tire parts pack, I assume?
  5. Never... since I've already seen photos and descriptions of it on the internet, there is no surprise anymore...
  6. Got my issue today...looks good at first glance.
  7. Since Round 2's kits are mostly reissues of kits previously reissued often, most buyers of these kits know what to expect..so no point in wordy descriptions...
  8. It's a kit of a NASCAR subject used in the 1980 season. NASCAR still used the '77 style bodies through the '80 season.
  9. Still waiting on my last order..talked to them in Oct w/ my next-to-last order, said my last one should be in the early Spring...it was an order from July 3rd, 2016.
  10. There are already several threads on this kit, incl.
  11. Arii had the 'American Violence' series...this Firebird, a '72 Mustang, '72 Thunderbird and '73 Challenger also, I think..maybe others..I have later issues of the Thunderbird and Challenger with more sedate box art.
  12. That was a reference to the classic Arii 'American Violence' series of kits, no doubt...
  13. So who is going to build their own version this in 1/25th? Would be fun to see...
  14. Saw this pic on an automotive forum today, a very unusual configuration...everything on this Chevy V8 seems to be in the wrong place...
  15. I was up in Western New York last Sunday, in Dunkirk and Westfield, driving the coastline and checking out the lighthouses. I plan to go back in the spring/summer and go to Lake Chautauqua also. I went to Niagara Falls back in 1999, want to go back this summer also..easy drive up I-90 from Cleveland.
  16. Sedona is nice..I like it, Prescott, Jerome and Flagstaff..went up north often for weekend getaways when I lived in Phoenix...
  17. Interesting. It was just funny that the Moebius guy calls out all those names expecting anyone to know who he was referring to..a bit weird. I've been to Pegasus Hobbies in Ca, bought plenty of their products, but have had no reason to know the names of their owners...
  18. I assume Dave is Dave Metzner, don't know who Tom and Larry are, or what Pegasus is...(is it Pegasus Hobbies--- the California hobby shop/aftermarket parts company, or some other firm?). Interesting...
  19. The suggestion I sent to Hasegawa would fit well with their multi version period subjects--a 79-81 Toyota Celica--potential for Coupe, liftback, SunChaser cabriolet, XX/Supra and racing versions.
  20. It's great...this morning I was on my sofa surrounded by dozing dogs, looking out at the snow in my backyard, on a video conference w/ colleagues in Arizona, Texas, India and Barbados, walking through changes to a system we are all working on. I don't miss working in a cubicle.
  21. I did see the flatbed Ford when I was there (though it's a stakebed Ford). Now that would make a great kit...
  22. I saw a couple of them in Winslow, Az a few years ago. Very tiny...
  23. Yes, the oil filter is molded on the outside of the pan, to the right of '124' in the illustration. Pretty common to have the oil pan molded like that on older AMT engines.
  24. Nice Nova, but wasn't that kit originally released in 1987?
