The MPC Cudas and Challenger annuals are the best for body accuracy, IMO. Though they kept using Hemis through '74.

you mean a Pinto Runabout? Sportabout was the Hornet wagon IIRC. My sister's first car was a '76 Pinto, had 'Runabout' badges IIRC.

A '65-66 Ford would be nice (could reuse the '69-72 chassis, as '65 was when that chassis came out), or a '58-60. Or a '67-72 Chevy/GMC, or a '61-71 Dodge...

I have one from R&R (I think) that I got maybe 10-12 years ago, I believe Time Machine Resin is casting one now and is the one available on eBay. I'm thinking either a base model w/ a 6 cyl or a phantom Hemi version.

I have kits I started around 19-20 that I haven't finished yet...25 years later.

They reissued the regular Scout II..the SS II was the open version w/ open doors, fender flares, different grille, etc.

Got my first order from Fireball today, very pleased w/ the quality and experience.

IIRC the last time Revell reissued parts packs they were a sales failure (chrome engines).

For an old kit, $175 for an unbuilt AMT 67 Galaxie convertible. I have dozens of old kits I paid from $50-100 for. For an old promo, $200 for an MPC '71 Impala convertible. For a resin kit, about $150 for a Modelhaus '70 Merc Colony Park wagon For a new kit, not sure...probably a Tamiya.

Too soon for '68 Road Runner, they just reissued it in retro packaging a few years ago...maybe one of the '69 GTXes, though...the '72 Chevy pickup would be nice to see again.

Looks like a clean Bronco II in that pic also...I had one back in the day, neat little 4x4.

Maybe they will come up with a version where you go around collecting animated muscle cars, Tri-Fives, 32 Fords, T-buckets, etc to bring in the older crowd..

Yeah, it wasn't until the '77 downsizing that all the B-bodies across the CPOB brands standardized on a single wheelbase. Prior to that, Chevy had one wheelbase, Pontiac had two (both B-bodies), Olds had two (B- and C- bodies), Buick had two (B- and C- bodies)...and even more variation once you get back as far as the early 50s and before... As far as the 60s Pontiacs went, Catalina and Ventura were on the shorter wheelbase, as were the Grand Prix and 2+2. Star Chief (renamed Executive) and Bonneville were on the longer wheelbase.

IIRC a '61 Catalina was announced when the Ventura was announced. I know a Catalina stock car is coming as a MK release. A Bonneville would require a new body, interior and chassis (wheelbase difference) so that would be more of a long shot...

or they will do something off the wall like a 58 Ranchero. Though more than those two, I'd really like to see a '70 Ranchero GT.

Would be nice, but Revell doesn't seem to be serious about modern subjects anymore, doing only Snap Fast and Glue Easy type kits. I'd love to have full detail Challenger and Charger Helllcat kits.

interesting. Not familiar w the 23 roadster kit. Did it differ much from the 25?

49 Ford is coming later this year. Wasn't the Model T out in stock and Hot Rod versions a few years ago? (The roadster and the tall coupe versions )

What he said. There will be new tools, reissues, and modified reissues. Some will be of interest to some people, some to others. Some will be real surprises, some will be predictable.
