  1. #200 is the December 2015 issue, has 3 '63 Plymouths and a Duel truck build on the cover..
  2. C1 makes great stuff...I've got their Mustang and 2 different Camaro widebody kits along w/ their Challenger kit. Love the wheels and tires also.
  3. As with any reissue, people that are interested in them get them when they come out...then they fade into obscurity as the next month's issues get attention, etc, forever available on eBay...
  4. The Lindberg '66 Chevelle also has those hubcaps.
  5. Hearing fireworks here now...
  6. I've seen a few offbeat oldies the last few days driving around town... a rough 59 Edsel 2dr sedan in primer gray w/ red trim and red wheels a very rough 60 Pontiac 2dr sedan in faded red w/ white top, no bumpers, lifted in the rear, a blower hat sticking through the hood what appeared to be an all original, faded/oxidized lt blue '63 Plymouth wagon a white '73 Ranchero 500 w/ a white bed cap
  7. There was a thread about this here last year. Very old Lindberg kit.
  8. The AMT shows as a July release on Model Roundup and other vendor sites.
  9. Yeah..even says 'January 2016' on the cover..
  10. So did I...and it was bagged. Kind of my modeling related birthday present.
  11. Got my #201 today...looks good at first glance.
  12. It's listed on their website as a 2015 4th quarter release, so it's been delayed
  13. Saw an 'OX' truck going through a drive thru this morning (old black Dodge 4x4 with only the 'o' and 'x' left of the decals on the tailgate).
  14. I'm busy with work, but try and stick to a 40 hr week schedule. I have a yard service and pool service, but the big distractions in the summer are grilling (though I eat out a lot w/ all the great restaurants in my neighborhood), and swimming...I try and spend a 1/2 hr to an hour in the pool every evening relaxing... I do buy models and sometimes glue the engine halves together..;) I figure I won't get seriously back into building models until I move and set up a proper modeling room.
  15. Favorite is probably Michael Connelly...love contemporary crime fiction. Also a fan of the work of John Sanford, Robert Crais, Steve Martini, James Patterson, James Ellroy, Lee Child, Robert Ludlum, John LeCarre. Also like a lot of Nordic crime fiction writers--Steig Larsson, Jo Nesbo, Henning Mankell, Kjell Ericcson, etc.
  16. Maybe the 2nd issue will have the speed parts from the convertible.
  17. I've seen pics of them built up on Facebook...they look pretty nice built.
  18. Sweet..I have something like that in mind for one of mine.
  19. It would have been around that much w/ my home warranty, but their HVAC repair company wouldn't have been able to get out until Friday..so I called around and got it replaced the same day for $300...can't wait in this weather. Last winter I had to have another capacitor on the unit replaced when the furnace went out...on the coldest night of the year..
  20. MCW makes a decent one, I have one, haven't built it yet. http://www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com/resin/65dod2dr.jpg http://www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com/resin/resinlist.html
  21. Very cool...I love the look of '70s road race cars..
  22. Yeah, that's just standard stuff w/ email clients on phones, tabbys, etc...my sister's Samsung phone puts 'Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE smartphone' on her emails, mine says 'Sent from my iPhone' if I use the standard iPhone email app, when I use Gmail I have a specific signature w/ my name and email address. No big deal.... Now my central air going out at 3am this morning---that really, really irked me and didn't make my day...at least it's fixed now, the house has cooled off from a high of 100 down to 86 degrees...
  23. So I woke this morning at 3:00am and noticed the house was warm.. got up and it was 83 degrees instead of the usual 75. It got up to 100 in the house today until the service guy could get to the house and replace a capacitor about an hour ago...house is down to 90 now...woooo hoooo...
  24. I think only if they have to (emergencies)....a lot of outdoor work during the hot months goes on early in the morning (or overnight like roadwork).
  25. the humidity is very low. 4-5 percent. I only feel it few minutes at a time---dashing between air conditioned house, car, office, etc. I've lived in S Florida, and it's worse with the heat and high humidity.
