  1. I just keep the ringer off on the home phone and turn off the ringer on my cell phones in the evening.
  2. Disgusting.
  3. Those were from the Meng site.. http://www.meng-model.com/index2_new.php?id=236
  4. The base cluster through '65 was a Falcon part (horizontal speedometer) I believe...
  5. '11 was a facelift year..different front fenders, hood, bumper, larger/bulgier grille, revised light clusters.. '08-10: '11-15
  6. Supposed to get to 99 tomorrow. Turned on my house A/C for the first time this season.
  7. Also from the box art, the wheels and tires always looked funny to me..like the wheelcovers stood out too far...
  8. Sharp build!
  9. I remember going to an IPMS show that was downtown at the Convention Center a few years ago...Gregg was there, there was an MCM booth set up. Though IIRC It was in August.
  10. WigWam..that's where it was when I went. Couldn't remember the name.
  11. I remember the Copperstate show..went to a couple in the early '00s, IIRC it was somewhere waaaaaaaaay out on the westside.
  12. Yes, or just stamp it on...stamped on copyright info is pretty common in diecast models..
  13. Yes, that's the one I'd like to see...surprised there hasn't been one done yet.
  14. Yeah, the 1:1 has been out at least 6 months or so..strange that kit makers are dragging their feet..the diecast have been out for quite a while now. They seem to have ignored the new Viper also, which has been out well over a year in 1:1..
  15. It's about dinner time in your time zone, isn't it?
  16. I remember Crown Burger in Denver..good stuff. Speaking of pastrami sandwiches, there is a really good deli in my PHX 'hood called Miracle Mile Deli--had a delicious hot bbq pastrami sandwich there yesterday.
  17. I remember that from their catalog probably 15 years ago...but they've been gone for a long time.
  18. I assume on the 1:1 those big things on the inner door panel are cubbies for stashing maps, tablets, ice scrapers, etc..
  19. I'm not much of a fan of outdoor chores..that's why I pay for a yard service and a pool service and people to cut the palm trees when they look unruly. What I am looking forward to in hot season is getting in a lot of pool time in the evenings..
  20. Sharp color...like the stance.
  21. Yes... I'm used to tech industry rates so I'm probably a bit jaded. Potentially lots of hours in my field, but I usually get paid for them..
  22. I seem to recall there was something about the way the front lip of the hood was creased also. Whether there is a distinct 64 1/2 or not has been an item of debate among magazines and authors for decades..seems like it is an expression that came along after the fact.
  23. Well put, Jonathan. I'm looking forward to eventually building at least one..waiting on my pre order from HLJ now. It's great now after almost 15 years to see another modern pickup kitted. I hope it is successful for Meng and they tool up variations and more modern trucks.
