  1. Yes..the E-body was considerably wider than the A-body..almost as wide as the B-body, I think...
  2. Neat idea..like the flooring in the cargo area...speaking of Pacer sedan deliveries, wasn't the custom version of the AMT Pacer wagon a sedan delivery style thingy?
  3. I like going to my LHS...it's only about 10-15 min from my office, so it's easy to stop by after work. I frequently buy domestic kits and supplies from them, but the markup on imported kits is such that even w/ shipping buying from Japanese vendors is a substantially better deal. There are others in the area, incl. one close to home that I visit on occasion as well.
  4. Modelhaus does...part #s are T240 (blackwall), T250 (wide whitewall), T260 (narrow white wall)...
  5. Hmmm...I checked one of my 3, and don't see the pins either...maybe they are plastic and on one of the trees and I'm overlooking them.
  6. Sharp clean build...
  7. Very clean build.
  8. Promo style w/ everything molded in...good for a curbside build.
  9. I've heard of him, never saw his movies. I heard that the great Irish actor Peter O' Toole died also this weekend...
  10. The MPC ones--at least in the Duster and Dart Sport kits--seems too small also. The eBay seller 'puggypugpower2011' has resin 340 and 360 engines for sale, curious about them..
  11. Starting the last work week of '13 for me...taking off next week and the following. Looking forward to some down time. Probably catch up on sleep. Some family time, maybe a road trip or two.
  12. That's pretty hilarious...I guess no one at Round 2 took the time to look at other vintage kit wheelbacks before tooling up the new ones...what are these 'MRC wheel adaptor sleeves' ?
  13. The grille detailing turned out really well looks like...
  14. Yes, same here..waiting on those and the January restock of the Aoshima 430 gen Gloria and Cedric. Also waiting on the new Aoshima wheel sets that are supposedly coming this month. I noticed over the weekend that there are 4 more Aoshima new wheel sets coming in Feb, couple of those look interesting. Bar any HLJ shipments, I think I'm done w/ new kits for the year except for the RoG VW van.
  15. Are the optional stock clear headlight covers there? I believe those parts were in the original annual but haven't been seen in a long time..
  16. I'd rather have it in the original RoG box, but it doesn't seem to be available in the US in that box...I have the convertible in the RoG box.
  17. I think my name went in around April or May.
  18. From what I've read, most all GM-B bodies from '58 or so on had coil rear suspensions except wagons which usually had leaf springs.
  19. Interesting how different the side marker lights are between the two...but it does look like in 1:1 the '72-74 Cudas have different side marker lights than the '70-71..
  20. Middleman, I guess...distributors adding markup. It's pretty hard to justify buying local when the price difference is so much and it's so easy to buy online from Japan.
  21. It's going to be fun to see where Revell goes with this kit next...lots of potential for variations..
  22. Good to hear.. I still want mine!
  23. The stock version has coils, the street machine has leaf springs IIRC..
