IIRC, it was back around '99-00 when they did the 'Millenium' release that AMT labeled the kit as a '68 Plymouth only....AMT must have not been able to secure the RR license from WB/whomever then..

The '70 convertible has been out for a month or so...has an uptop, looks pretty good. Keep in mind being Revell of Germany kits, these are German-spec cars, so the details may differ from US ones of the same model year.

Sharp build...like the color choices. -
One idea I've been mulling is using them on an early '70s Firebird..kind of my own spin on Bill Mitchell's Pegasus...

When are we going to stop calling it "evilbay" ?

Automated email generation off of search terms...not a precise science...sounds more like a 'spray & pray' style.... throw out a bunch and see if anything sticks... -

It's just commerce...neither 'good' nor 'evil' necessarily. Truly the worlds largest 24/7 flea market, swap meet, store, etc. It's a better way to blow money than gambling...at least w/ eBay you spend money and get product. -

Or just set up a mailbox filter...I set gmail to filter all eBay messages with an eBay label (similar idea to an eBay folder in Outlook or other mail clients). Same with PayPal, etc. -

Just an opinion, but there is some truth to this.. I figure some of it is just the grumpy older people (not necessarily in calendar years, but in mindset) that like to complain about the internet, cell phones, anything associated w/ modern life. The 'living in the past' crowd. They always find something to complain about. I've been a successful eBay user for 16 years...could count the number of problem transactions I've had on one hand. -
Looking at them, they seem the same front and rear..the diagram on the back of the box indicates front and rear. Tires appear to be the same width, if the wheels are wider, it's very slight. Since they are 4 lug, I'm thinking these could be an interesting choice for a '90 Mustang LX build.

One thing I am looking forward to about the Xmas season is my company's holiday party...dinner at the best steakhouse in Scottsdale, hang out at a casino for the after party, then a room at a hotel paid for by the company...I actually enjoy hanging out w/ my coworkers, being in a small tight-knit consulting company (15 people).

Maybe eventually the Christmas sales will start Jan 1.. Driving home tonight listening to NPR I heard a segment about people that are lining up and camping out at big-box stores now, getting ready for Black Friday...I wonder, who does crazy stuff like that..don't they have jobs and lives? I can' imagine lining up at store for days or weeks before a sales event. Then again, I never do the Black Friday shopping..too crazy..for me, the Day after Thanksgiving is day to sleep in late and be lazy..

Got mine today

I never decorate as I usually always travel at Christmas to visit family and friends. Or go to the beach.

4-6 is the norm... it seems every month I get a box from them, either one of the little boxes with resto parts, or a larger box w/ a resin kit. Been a happy customer going on 20 years now.

Yeah, I assume the RPP date for Dec releases may be more like the 17th or so, judging by this month and past months...

Aoshima Rocket Bunny 86 kit whats in the box review pg5

I should have my Volk one tomorrow...my big HLJ shipment is due then. I notice the 1:1 in Jonathan's pics is badged as an FR-S, does the kit include Scion badging? Interesting.. -
No, you missed the point. Different idea. Shared parts don't mean the same. It's the degree of sharing that is significant. Badge engineered products are virtually identical except for trivial differences like grilles and badges. Consider the '77 Monaco and '77 Fury. Or the Neon. Or the FR-S and BRZ. The new Chevy City Express is badge engineered from the Nissan NV200. Platform sharing, on the other hand, results in different cars that have some dirty bits shared but different interiors, bodies, etc. it happened in the 60s and '70s--Mustang and Cougar, Barracuda and Challenger, Torino and Montego, Charger, Coronet, Belvedere. Today it happens with cars such as the Impala and LaCrosse. Malibu and Regal. Fusion and MKZ. Taurus and MKS. Camry, Avalon and ES. Modern Charger, Challenger and 300. Shared parts, distinctly different cars.

Well, technically what Lincoln is doing isn't badge engineering..it's platform sharing, which car makers have done for ages--distinct bodies and interiors, shared dirty bits. Toyota and Lexus do it. Nissan and Infiniti do it. Cadillac does it to some degree with other GM brands. Dodge and Chrysler do it. Examples of badge engineering would be the Neon (Dodge and Plymouth versions), Chevy and GMC trucks and vans, various Dodge and Plymouth models from the '70s until the end of Plymouth, for example.
