  1. I went to a few Browns games when I lived in the area in the early '90s...and spent my childhood in Steeler territory..that part of the country still seems like home to me.
  2. Just looking forward to seeing how my Broncos fare...
  3. There are diecast, not sure if there are any in 1/24th, but I have a number of 1/64th and a couple 1/18th DW12s (Greenlight). I bought them from vendors at the Indy 500 in '12 and from eBay..
  4. Seems like UPS and FedEx wouldn't like this. Though they are probably studying drone delivery themselves.
  5. This truck version of the 4L is neat..
  6. It's just another military subject, a tool of war...terrorists and terrorism are part of war today. I have no interest in the war aspect, but I thought the car was an interesting subject. I wouldn't have posted this if I knew people were going to freak out over it. Sheesh.
  7. The Duster would have the same wheelbase in 1:1 (108 in)...the Dart has a 111 inch wheelbase.. I've thought about doing this same conversion to build a '68 Hemi Cuda using one of MPC Cudas I have.. since the Cuda chassis is pretty minimal, I'd rather use something w/ more detail.
  8. Was cold here in Phoenix last night (about 40 when I left for work this morning) and is about 78 and sunny now..love the cool winter weather.
  9. Nice...too bad no one is doing modern Audi sedans and coupes in scale...would love to have kits of cars like the A5/S5, RS6, A7/S7, A8/S8...
  10. Sharp build.
  11. Christmas 1978--AMT Countdown Series '66 T-Bird, '69 Galaxie, and '69 Riviera. The significance to me was this was the first Xmas as a kid that I ever got 1/25th scale glue kits.
  12. Sharp build.
  13. I'd love to see them do a Citroen DS or SM. A Facel Vega would be cool, i have a 1:18th scale diecast one. A '70s Peugeot 504 coupe would be neat also.
  14. It's too bad it is 1/35th...I'm not interested in the diorama, but I do like old M-Bs...
  15. Looking good...I've got a resin '65 Belvedere wagon that I plan to do in a similar way..
  16. Rabbit is what the 1st gen Golf was named in NA. These kits are the European spec--smaller bumpers, round headlights, etc. The differences in the bumpers in the kit illustrations are because they are different model years, I assume....the Mk I Golf had an MCE somewhere in it's run...the GTI was added in '76, the Cabrio in '80. More info here..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Golf_Mk1
  17. Yes..still see a lot of the old W123s around, esp. the diesels...someone in my neighborhood has a blue one.
  18. Sweet...I'd love to see 1/24th scale kits of the DS and SM.
  19. It's on a major model kit vendor site, so I assume it's a legit kit.
  20. That will be neat to see...the van version would be neat also. I saw a green one like the pic below recently in an episode of the Irish crime drama 'Jack Taylor'.
  21. Never heard of the brand, and it's in 1/35th scale. Never seen a kit of the old Mercedes W123 generation midsize. Looks to be buildable as a terrorist's car bomb vehicle.
  22. The Trabant wagon and 1st gen Golfs will be nice to see..
  23. It doesn't IIRC. Years ago I looked into kitbashing the AAR kit w/ the '71. I wouldn't use the R-M '70 AAR as a starting point for anything..dreadful kit. Best to just start w/ the new Revell 1/25th scale '70 kit which has that hood as the optional hood.
  24. MPC did stock '71-73 Vega hatchbacks, AMT did a Vega wagon funny car, but the body proportions weren't stock IIRC--the rear was shortened.
  25. It is what it is..a 40 yr old MPC kit that has been reissued a few times and the tooling is probably worn.
