  1. The description says 'Monte Carlo 1964', so I would assume it's a '64 I looks to be an update of the regular kit w/ the rally parts added. The driver's seat is probably a racing seat..
  2. Got some more unbuilt oldies off eBay in the mail yesterday....MPC 1/32 Ferrari 250LM and a pair of 1977-vintage Monogram curbsides--yellow Porsche Carrera and a red Porsche 924. I remember seeing those two in the store as a kid, never had them until now.
  3. Hmmm...I'd have to check, but I thought the Challenger's engine was shorter/smaller than the one in the Magnum, or the other way around. I'm thinking of the regular Magnum SRT kit, the weak Uptown version doesn't have an engine IIRC.
  4. Sounds like the LX Sport trim level.
  5. Sounds very interesting...will have to check it out. Looks like Amazon Prime has it also for streaming.
  6. Neat idea..I mocked up something like that, never finished..I was using the '99 Cobra wheels & tires. I wish that had been kitted.
  7. A nice variety of sharp builds...I see a Toyota Century in there...Aoshima?
  8. I like the wheels and tires in that 'Vette kit and the engine...it wasn't a common kit back in that day IIRC. I remember getting one at my LHS in Colorado Springs right around the time I moved to Denver.
  9. Yes, the Citation was an X-body, the Cavalier a J-body..smaller, narrower.
  10. They were kitted...I have the '59 and '60 ht and convertible kits. The '58 Roadmaster was also kitted, but I don't have it.
  11. I think the problem is the rear wheel opening is too high relative to the body....the rear quarters look sectioned relative to a stock Mustang.
  12. A couple vehicles I do find interesting in the RR space are the Icon Derelict cars--the Chevy and DeSoto wagon---worn out looking on the outside, but well-engineered underneath and quite driveable from what I've read...
  13. Those would be correct for a '71 Barracuda (like the Johan kit), only the 'Cudas in '71 had them, I believe.
  14. Wouldn't mind seeing this reissued in the stock form. Neat wheels and other details.
  15. I was at the Copperstate 1000 kickoff at a stadium a few years ago, there was a '66 Ford GT40 MK II and the guy polishing it and driving it (not the owner) didn't know if it was a 289 or 427...
  16. True, but keep in mind those cars are over 40 years old...the general public who may not be car enthusiasts wouldn't be familiar with such old car details...
  17. The biannual emissions test for registration here is not a big deal...I'm usually in and out in 15 minutes when I get it done...I've gone on Tues or Wed around 5pm in the middle of the month before...end of the month and Saturdays is when the testing stations get busy, I've heard.
  18. Beautiful model..love the color scheme and stance.
  19. LoL...a buddy of mine has an '08 Boxster, front trunk, rear trunk, basically can't see much of the engine at all from above...
  20. Since they've done the AAR already twice in 1/24th, I don't think it will be at the top of the list of possible variations. I figure I can approximate one w/ the resin 1/25th AAR hood and the '71 Duster engine/trans (IIRC, that kit has a 6 pack option).
  21. I think that's more of a function of time and the age of the commenters than anything..
  22. Probably 20 years ago I was with my Dad in his '68 Cougar..came out of a convenience store and some young guys (my age, I was in my early 20s then) walked by and said 'sharp Camaro!'
  23. 1. '68-69 Mercury Cyclone 2. Lola T70 coupe 3. '77-79 Chevy Impala or Caprice coupe 4. '70-71 Plymouth Sport Fury GT 5. '03-04 Mercury Marauder
  24. Great build..very realistic detailing and weathering.
  25. That kit is showing on the Revell site as Late December...
