  1. Pretty quiet today, but it's still out there, new URL though.. http://client0.addonchat.com/chat.php?id=12510
  2. Yep...long time ago..
  3. Neat..never had this kit, wouldn't mind seeing it reissued.
  4. Foose is of the modern era, though....Barris is known for tacky junk from 40-50 years ago.. Winfield is long retired isn't he? Not familiar with Agostino. As far as modern day customizers, Moal is doing some interesting things.
  5. Bandit Resins makes a '79, and Perry's Resin both makes an '81...but '78-81 were pretty much the same in 1:1 w/ only minor trim differences.
  6. I like that color...someone in my neighborhood just bought one, in that same color. The kit looks good, I've got the Revell New Mini and several of the vintage Mini kits, but don't have the Countryman kit yet...
  7. I've bought a bunch of parts from Harts--those seats, hoods, etc. They have good stuff.
  8. I don't think I've ever seen one of the error Impalas..the ones I have were the corrected later issues.
  9. There must have been multiple cars or repaints of the same car in 1:1, there are pics out there of a '66 GeeTO Tiger w/ white side panel graphics, black panel graphics, wheels w/ gold spokes, Hurst mags, Pontiac Rally II mags, a non-stock hood scoop, etc..
  10. Harts Parts, http://www.hartspartsresin.com/
  11. 1) '68-69 Mercury Cyclone (never kitted before) 2) 1973-1980 Mercedes 450SEL w/ a '79 6.9 version (never kitted before) 3) 1974 Dodge Monaco (never kitted before, and a 'Blues Brothers' version is a natural)
  12. The 1/20th Lindberg Gremlin is a 40 yr old kit--pre dates the AMT '75/76 by a few years (those are '70s kits also), and the 1/32nd kits date back to the '70s also...so they were just re-issuing old tooling w/ those, not much investment to put those out... I think the '90s 1/20th kits were there because the guy that was the MPC 1/20th proponent in the '60s was at Lindberg then...they had some interesting subject choices, but in the wrong scale....about the only kits I really like in 1/20th are F1 racing car kits. I do like their 1/25th modern tools like the Chevelle, Cutlass, and '64 Dodge and Plymouth...it's too bad they never did more variations on the Dodge and Plymouth.
  13. Ah..interesting...I haven't looked at this thread in a few days, just caught the last page.
  14. Did Aoshima ever do that Hilux double cab in a stock configuration? I wouldn't mind having one but as a stock 2wd or 4wd...
  15. Interesting to see a multi-piece body, very old school....the parts breakdown on the instructions reminds me of some of the old Monogram '30s Classics kits. I'm guessing the two vertical bars on the cowl sides are flag mounts, but what is the funny thing on the front left fender above the parking light, some sort of military device? i find the Admiral kit interesting because of the bodystyle--4dr convertibles of that era are pretty scarce in model kits.
  16. I caught part of one of the old Pink Panther movies on cable a couple weeks ago, and Clouseau was driving a phone company van that IIRC was like this--a 2cv based truck. Or maybe I'm miss remembering. Other Citroens I'd love to see in 1:24th are the funky corrugated H-van, the classic DS and SM...
  17. That image is of the original issue box art, I believe.
  18. I know, but at the rate it takes Revell to get a kit out, I'd rather go w/ the diecast. Revell is so slow, they probably won't have a '13 car out until the season is over...
  19. That does look neat..any pics of what's in the box?
  20. Looks like there are diecasts in 1:24th....I got the new NASCAR merch catalog in the mail yesterday, flipped through it a bit...
  21. Mid to late sixties I would think, when NASCAR started racing cars that were silhouettes of street cars that were unibody...like the '66-67 Fairlane.
  22. MPC did do the '82 dual headlamp chrome bumper front end style....in kit and promo form..they pop up occasionally on eBay.
  23. That seems like it would be a natural for Moeibus.
  24. Sweet...is that the Motor City Resin kit?
