  1. Interesting...too pricey for me. Now if it were a 330p or 512 priced similar to their Lola T-70, I'd be interested..
  2. Wild...customized schoolbuses. Way back in the day when I was in elementary school (late '70s) I remember riding in old IH Loadstar and Ford F700 based buses...
  3. My favorite was the Chrysler/Clint ad...liked the Leno/Seinfeld Acura one also.. thought the Kia one was pretty blah (though Adriana Lima helped spice it up a bit), and the Camry ads were dull ads for a dull appliance.
  4. Anyone know what season this car represents? I don't know much about WOO cars, but do know Steve Kinser has been racing a long time..
  5. As far as Monogram 1:24th scale kits, Iv'e always avoided their tri-five kits--like their '69 Camaro, something always seemed off about those kits to me. On the other hand, I've built many '80s-era Monogram 1:24th muscle cars, NASCAR stockers, etc...
  6. The strangest aspect about the '55 hts is both the old 1:24th Monogram '55 ht and the newer Revell 1:25th '55 have been both available in recent years in Monogram box art w/ black cars on the boxes. I think they should stick w/ Monogram labeling on Monogram-origin tooling and Revell for the Revell-origin tooling.
  7. Yes..not sure why it's not that way now...odd to see no general section.
  8. The existing 'Other Models' section seems like a good place for zombie/sci-fi etc stuff. One thing I would like to see added is a general 'Racing Models' section--there is a 'Drag Racing Models' and a 'NASCARS' section, but no general racing section...would be nice for us F1/Indy/road racing/etc fans...
  9. My modeling table in general is too high for the dogs to reach... one afternoon last spring, though, a hood ('68 Coronet) I had been cleaning up went missing...found it in the backyard w/ tiny bite marks all over it...hmm. Apparently, the 5lb Yorkie jumped into my chair, then onto the modeling table, grabbed the hood, took it outside, got bored and left it...just glad she didn't pick up a tiny part and choke on it.
  10. You didn't read my reply, did you?
  11. Weathering and rusting is one thing, niche is all the zombie and post-apolyptic wierdness....
  12. Sounds like Cranky needs to start his own forums (there are many, many modeling forums on the internet) that can be focused on his weird niche interest area.
  13. Hopefully they will do a tire set w/ these retooled tires like they did w/ the drag slicks.
  14. I keep all my boxes...store the built kits in them. Keep the instructions also. Kits I've bought used w/o the box on eBay or at shows I store in 550-ct baseball card boxes and then try to hunt down the correct empty box for them..
  15. Yes, and your point? zombo.com hasn't changed since '99 that I know of..
  16. Sweet...love those racing Porsches..
  17. Great video, saw that a while back on Facebook..... and the site zombo.com, has been around pretty much unchanged since '99...an internet classic.
  18. Meh...The ZL1 handles it's 580 horsepower quite well w/ IRS, I've read...
  19. Kind of weird to think of a Camaro w/ a Ford rear axle..and that's a solid axle, old school.
  20. They are very narrow and on very narrow tires, but are maybe 19 inch. IIRC, that version of the snap kit doesn't include the stock wheels. Red car w/ flames on the box art..
  21. Late February release, I've read...
  22. Sharp build..that green definitely fits the era.
  23. Hmmm..that looks like an 'oops' on the decals. Haven't looked closely at mine yet.
