  1. My modeling table in general is too high for the dogs to reach... one afternoon last spring, though, a hood ('68 Coronet) I had been cleaning up went missing...found it in the backyard w/ tiny bite marks all over it...hmm. Apparently, the 5lb Yorkie jumped into my chair, then onto the modeling table, grabbed the hood, took it outside, got bored and left it...just glad she didn't pick up a tiny part and choke on it.
  2. You didn't read my reply, did you?
  3. Weathering and rusting is one thing, niche is all the zombie and post-apolyptic wierdness....
  4. Sounds like Cranky needs to start his own forums (there are many, many modeling forums on the internet) that can be focused on his weird niche interest area.
  5. Hopefully they will do a tire set w/ these retooled tires like they did w/ the drag slicks.
  6. I keep all my boxes...store the built kits in them. Keep the instructions also. Kits I've bought used w/o the box on eBay or at shows I store in 550-ct baseball card boxes and then try to hunt down the correct empty box for them..
  7. Yes, and your point? zombo.com hasn't changed since '99 that I know of..
  8. Sweet...love those racing Porsches..
  9. Great video, saw that a while back on Facebook..... and the site zombo.com, has been around pretty much unchanged since '99...an internet classic.
  10. Meh...The ZL1 handles it's 580 horsepower quite well w/ IRS, I've read...
  11. Kind of weird to think of a Camaro w/ a Ford rear axle..and that's a solid axle, old school.
  12. They are very narrow and on very narrow tires, but are maybe 19 inch. IIRC, that version of the snap kit doesn't include the stock wheels. Red car w/ flames on the box art..
  13. Late February release, I've read...
  14. Sharp build..that green definitely fits the era.
  15. Hmmm..that looks like an 'oops' on the decals. Haven't looked closely at mine yet.
  16. You got it....Cranky does seem to be trying to get his post count to the maximum and dominate threads, in addition to creating nonsense threads like this one and the zombie grandma one. Just seems like a lot of self-promotion w/ no substance.
  17. Then it sounds like you need to concentrate harder on math in school...
  18. it's out now..picked up one at my LHS yesterday...probably going to get a couple more eventually.
  19. I thought I read somewhere they could be positioned open or closed but are not hinged. Has any kit ever had working Lambo scissors doors? The Revell/Monogram (Countach, DIablo), Tamiya (Countach) and Fujimi (Murcielago) Lambos I have all have non-opening doors IIRC...
  20. Got it at Hobby Depot in Tempe..was $26.95..
  21. Picked up the Revell '10 Camaro SS and Audi R8 Spyder at the LHS this afternoon.
  22. Yes, they are great..I've have had them over 10 years..pretty much am able to avoid commercials all the time..if I want to watch something in near-real time, I usually start watching 15 min in so I can fwd through the commericals. It won't run out of 'tape', but my older tiVo used to fill up all the time because I'd forget to delete items... my new one has a lot more capacity and can record up to 4 programs simultaneously....haven't used my VHS recorder in over 10 years... About the only show I really want to see the commercials on is the Super Bowl...
  23. To use a old, old quote--it's a strange new world. Imagine what it will be like for the generation born today in 20 years...
  24. It's interesting..not just w/ social networking, but in work work also.....on my current project, I haven't actually met any of the clients I'm working with other than on the phone and via email..they are in Louisiana, I'm in AZ. And the two local colleagues in my company that are I work with are in the office once a week or so, and I usually work from home 2 days a week..
