  1. 31 and sunny this afternoon. More snow coming Tuesday and later in the week. I have next Monday off, but it’s only supposed be 19 then. Typical Cleveland January, last year was milder because it was an El Niño year I think.
  2. About 25F today. A few inches of fresh snow over the old snow. I start my Mustang once a week, haven’t driven it in snow since I lived in Colorado over 25 years ago. Got it out for a while w/ my Caddy, Jeep lives outside…
  3. The original Fast and the Furious movie..
  4. Beautiful build..I love these cars in 1:1.
  5. Carlito’s Way IIRC. 20 years ago I had a coworker that would introduce himself as ‘Johnny Blanco from Queens’, which he was…riffing on the movie line.
  6. That looks sweet...definitely want one.
  7. Nice...I liked that show, I esp. liked all the 70s-80s Buicks and Olds full sizers in it.
  8. True, same as with probably 90% of gas SUVs.
  9. Yesterday was unseasonably mild for late December in NE Ohio..was sunny and 59 at one point. 57 and rain today. January supposed to arrive w/ more typical seasonable cold and snow.
  10. It's for turning tightly at low speeds...parking, off-roading on narrow trails, etc.
  11. The Monogram '59 kit came out in 1996, the '60 in 1998. It probably didn't make financial sense to retool completely, so some parts are shared.
  12. To build multiple versions or to use some for parts donors for other builds. Pretty normal.
  13. Or a in-progress home made camper build. Needs a tent
  14. As does the Lindberg/AMT ‘66 Chevelle. They also look good on AMT’s ‘67 Impalas. Didn’t some Mopar cars use these or something similar also?
  15. Beautiful...I built both of those kits as a kid in the 70s, my late father bought me the Cord kit as it was his dream car as a kid in the 30s. I recently bought a couple more of these kits, want to see if I can build them better now.
  16. The Blues Brothers at the diner?
  17. And the '73 had the smallest bumpers of the '73-77 generation...I esp. like the rear bumpers of '73s.
  18. Sharp build..nice to see one of these built. I have the Too Many Projects '66 4dr and a '65 2dr one on order.
  19. I got mine from Hobby Link Japan, but in the US Model Roundup has it...
  20. Yeah, looks like the pizza van and Camaro are out in Europe..a bunch on eBay from sellers in Europe...they will be here eventually.
  21. I built the Monogram Cord and Continental as a kid in the 70s, never built any of the others. After a recent visit to a Packard museum, I had an interest in building more of them. The Lola was something I stumbled across, love the endurance race cars of the 60s-70s.
  22. A couple new kits and a bunch of older kits I’ve bought over the last couple of months.
