Looks to be a good project no matter the size. So, is that a metal or plastic body? I'll be watching this one. Later-

1963 Porsche 356 Carrera------Update! 5/22/17

Nice rebuild. It's always great to see your work, even if it is 30 years old. The timing on this is perfect as I am picking up a complete/ sealed inside kit of this today from a shop here. I convinced the owner to hold it for me. Paying $40 but I noticed as I was rifling through the box that it comes with a complete extra set of tires and wheels. (one of my favorite parts of this kit) Later- -
Nice haul. Are you planning to use the wing on the rear of the STi? If not, I'd be interested in a deal for it. Later-

Beautiful Color! Never heard of one of these. Were there any other special features other than the color? Later-

Very nice work on saving this one. The black paint looks gorgeous. Sounds like you should have enough spare parts now. I, too, have a few of the different versions of the 48. I bought one from a thrift store that was complete, along with the flathead engine from the Revell 50 Ford pickup. Unfortunately the previous owner had poorly sanded off about half of the fender trim. I'm not looking forward to replacing it. I may do a model of a rust bucket with chrome missing. What size and type of strip did you use to replace yours? Later-

Another great trade with Gardnerpage44. I hope that he gets my parts I sent soon... He has been helpful with needed parts more than a few times, as I'm sure most of you know. Thanks Paul!! Later-

I finally finished this build. Number 2 for the year. I used the American Graffiti 56 with minor modifications. I removed the hood bulge, dropped the leading edge of the front fenders, removed the Connie kit and chopped the windshield, to list a few of the mods. Shot Walmart cheap Sally Hansen "Navy Fleet" nail polish through the airbrush. http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// Nothing really special here. Hood is even glued shut. Just wanted to do a quick little build and it drug out to a bit longer than I expected. But, it's DONE!! Thanks for looking and feel free to comment or criticize at will. Later-

Love the look of this and nice work on hinging the panels. Later- -
Picked up all of this, plus a sealed Lindberg 37 Cord for $10. Not sure what kit or kits all of the pieces in the pile go to but there are a few parts to a brass era car. http:// http:// http:// I was thinking about bashing the front of the built Cord to the rear of the built Auburn for a four pontoon fendered car. May look interesting. Later-

I received new bumpers for the TBird. I got one 1/24 front and one 1/25 and one 1/24 rear. Funny, but the 1/24 pieces fit perfect. The only noticeable difference is when splicing the sections from the 1/24 rear bumper to the 1/25 rear bumper in order to remove the Connie kit section. Here is what I have so far on both. Just need to do a bit of filing on the rear to get it smooth. Then I can chrome them and install. http:// http:// I have opened up the grille and am using window screen to replace the center. It is close to a stock look but allows the grille to be seen through. This way you can see the radiator with a puller style electric fan i have installed. I am almost finished with this one. Perhaps tonight or tomorrow I can have it in the "Under Glass" section. Later-

That is stunning work. Great details that you've added. I can't wait to get started on my 67. It keeps getting pushed back by other builds though. Later-
