Yup! Though you would need to update it from a carb to fuel injection. -

It is an F250 kit since the 460 wasn’t available on the F150, but they dropped the ball and gave it the half ton wheels for some reason. -
You may be right, I found a few other colors on Google images: blue, purple, pink, and black. I’m not sure whether they are official colors though or ones that people have created themselves.

I know there's a bit of semi truck talk currently here, but I know that Round2 is bringing the 90's GMC Sonoma kit back out again as well. I'm wondering if it will just be a straight reissue of the SLS kit or if they'll change anything about it.

I'm hoping to get it right away when it comes out. My dad wanted a Krate or Stingray when he was a kid, but his parents couldn't afford one, and so I would like to build a version for his upcoming birthday. He does however have a pair of 1:1 Stingrays, a '68 in red and a '69 in orange, the latter of which was restored by him.

From what I've found, 6. Apple Krate (red) Orange Krate (orange) Lemon Peeler (yellow) Pea Picker (green) Grey Ghost (gray/silver) Cotton Picker (white)

That’s a shame about the trunk since it’s one of the defining features of the show car. I’m hoping that someone will resin cast a trunk with the weapons for it.

I would think so too since if they went the rehashed 2dr kit route, they would alienate both the Supernatural fan crowd and the crowd that are looking for a 4-door Impala kit.

Alright, good to know!

Has anyone ordered from Fireball lately? I noticed that Joseph hasn't updated his website/Facebook since last fall, and hasn't been on here since February, and am thinking about ordering some more parts.

I’ll be there with a few pickups and suvs! -
On the Round 2 Facebook, they mentioned June as the release month!

That's a good question, especially since the show will be going off the air after the next season.

Any word on the release date of the Schwinn? Also if the Supernatural kit is accurate to the TV series, then count me in on that as well! Edit: There was mention on the Round 2 Facebook post that the Schwinn will be out sometime in June.

I wonder if the GMC Sonoma will be a straight reissue or if they'll add anything new to it.

Matte and Satin Black
Jordan White replied to porschercr's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I love this stuff from Home Depot for Matte/Satin finishes. It's less than a buck a can, yet covers perfectly ( I just coat it on in one coat, haven't had any issues with runs). I also use their gloss black for non-body parts. -
1999 Isuzu VehiCross
Jordan White replied to Jordan White's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Yup, unlike some of their other kits it’s only RHD. Thank you for the comments! I built this kit before probably 15 years ago and found it in stores recently and wanted to do it again, but better! -
Just completed this kit. Tamiya 1999 Isuzu VehiCross built box and factory stock in GM Autumn Maple Metallic. It may not be a factory color, but based on the amount of colors they offered on the Japanese models, I don't think it's too out of line! In true Tamiya form, it went together with minimal fuss and turned out great.
-
Yeah I'm not sure why they had it on either version. This is the only picture I have ever seen of a factory truck with a tailgate mounted spare, though it appears to have a swingaway carrier.
-
I am also very interested in the bike, not I kit I would ever expect to see (well, from an American company at least!) I agree that it seems like it would such little work to add the decals for the other Krate versions.

Jeep Rubicon 10th Anniversary What's In The Box.
Jordan White replied to martinfan5's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Wow! That's roughly 3 times the price that we would pay in the US! As for making a 4-door, how are your scratchbuilding skills? You could probably make one kit a 4-door with a bit of scratchbuilding and body/chassis lengthening, and have the second kit available to still build as something else. -
Jeep Rubicon 10th Anniversary What's In The Box.
Jordan White replied to martinfan5's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I did a few months ago. Went together pretty well, though the body can be finicky to put together. Like you, I also have two, with the second I plan on building it as more of a customized off-roader. Seeing that this thread was started December 2017, I wonder when Meng will show off their next kit in the series and what it will be?
