  1. To give Dodge credit though, the bedsides are for things that you don't want just rolling around in the bed (tools, chainsaw, fishing poles, bow and arrows, etc. They're also lockable so you don't have to buy a separate locking box to mount in the bed unless you need a larger space.
  2. I'm already way ahead of the trend!
  3. If you want accurate, use the AMT Bronco, since it has a more detailed TTB setup, though you will have to fab the brackets. If you don't want to fab anything, use the Monogram Bronco suspension since it's all one piece.
  4. So what? So let's dance!
  5. I don't think it would matter if your account is deleted or not. I've been looking there lately and not logging in, and I'm getting a blank screen right now as well.
  6. I believe that's the one thing the rest of us already noticed, since it's such a glaring problem!
  7. Any idea what the 4 different ways it can be built are?
  8. Mr. Furious: Okay, am I the only one who finds these sayings just a little bit formulaic? "If you want to push something down, you have to pull it up. If you want to go left, you have to go right." It's... The Sphinx: Your temper is very quick, my friend. But until you learn to master your rage... Mr. Furious: ...your rage will become your master? That's what you were going to say. Right? Right? The Sphinx: Not necessarily.
  9. For me it depends. I'll first look at the local hobby shops (Hobbytown and King Kong Hobbies). If I don't find the kits I want, or I know that they are old releases, I'll look online (eBay, Hobbylinc, jiminohio, model roundup, etc.)
  10. Don't know if they're exactly terrible, but they are inaccurate. The Italeri American Superliner and US Reefer trailer. Truck has too wide of a cab, wrong frame, wrong suspension, wrong steering, and a few other things. Trailer is wrong height, no fuel tank, too large hubs, wrong location of leveling legs. However, they are otherwise great kits in that they have great detail and build up nice.
  11. Loooking gooood! Just don't knock it off the railing!
  12. Well looking at the instructions, you would have to reposition the torsion arms and shorten the shocks.
  13. Did I make a wrong turn into the old guy forums?
  14. Depends what kind you're looking for. Pegasus wheels come in many styles, and have both large-backspaced wheels as well as smaller-backspaced wheels (of each wheel style). You could basically buy one set of 4 of each backspacing and mix them together to get your staggered set (2 sets actually). However, that's if you want larger 18-19" style wheels. Good place to find them is Scale Dreams.
  15. Maybe he's counting his lurking presence as membership?
  16. What, you've never seen fluffy plug wires before? (My first build I "wired").
  17. Well I compared the color charts to a picture of a freshly painted Cummins and it does appear that XF67 Buff is the closest. Of course, there's always the excuse of colors being slightly different on the computer, but since both pics are on the computer, it should be fine! Edit: Just noticed that the XF colors are flat, and I want a glossy look, so the best for that is X31 Titanium Gold.
  18. Figured I could bump this up since it's good info and I have a question. What is a good paint to use to simulate the Cummins Beige, preferably in Tamiya bottle paint?
  19. Good find! Just found the order form for your suggestion stasch, and it looks like a better choice for spray painting, Steve's site is good simply because of the caution striping.
  20. Step 1: Buy a large box of sticky traps Step 2: Lay down on floor around work area Step 3: ???? Step 4: Profit!
  21. It was the USS Enterprise.
  22. Dude, what's with the blurry pic of the 'Stang?! You forgot the pics of the "Blue Flash" as well! Was definitely a fun event, with it being my first time there. Great buncha guys! Hey Ian, now that I've seen Nick's last name, gonna have to start calling him Niko (AKA Niko Bellic from GTA4), specially with his perfect accent.
  23. Certainly was a great show, especially being my first time there. Met plenty of great people and saw many fabulous builds. I didn't enter anything this year since this was a last minute event for me, but next year I plan on certainly bringing something!
  24. There's already a thread on the January issue, but I'm sure it will show up soon since others have just begun receiving theirs.
