  1. Hmm a tractor, that could be considered a really slow automobile!
  2. All this talk about diecasts not being model cars and such confuses me, I'm rebuilding a diecast (well, actually rebuilding it with parts from another ) and am doing some of the same things as I would on an all-plastic kit (minus body alterations of course). Yes they do come pre-built and pre-painted, but who says you can't build them your own way?
  3. Yeah, unfortunately when you rearrange photos, the URL changes since the folder names are included in it. Hence, you have to re-post them.
  4. I agree with that, except the one nice thing about this forum is there is a thread preview function. If you hover your mouse over the title, a little icon will appear on the right, next to where it says the thread poster. Click on it and it will show part of what the first post says.
  5. SXT is meant to be their (more or less) cheap sporty trim level (at least that's what it used to be). For example, the 1st gen Durango SXT was a basic model (whatever it was at the time), with black bumpers and fender flares, and the 31x10.5R15 wheels/tires from the SLT Plus trim level (plus I'm sure some other stuff on the inside.)
  6. I think it was a 23 footer, though I can't remember off the top of my head. It's at home right now so I can't measure it.
  7. Have one in progress, frame is done so far.
  8. I think Texas is the only state with their own "special edition" truck, the rest of us just get the "Big Horn" edition. I think Texas is one of the more popular states for trucks, so they try to market there more.
  9. You're thinking of Han, and 4 and 5 are supposed to take place before Tokyo Drift hence why he's still around.
  10. To give Dodge credit though, the bedsides are for things that you don't want just rolling around in the bed (tools, chainsaw, fishing poles, bow and arrows, etc. They're also lockable so you don't have to buy a separate locking box to mount in the bed unless you need a larger space.
  11. I'm already way ahead of the trend!
  12. If you want accurate, use the AMT Bronco, since it has a more detailed TTB setup, though you will have to fab the brackets. If you don't want to fab anything, use the Monogram Bronco suspension since it's all one piece.
  13. So what? So let's dance!
  14. I don't think it would matter if your account is deleted or not. I've been looking there lately and not logging in, and I'm getting a blank screen right now as well.
  15. I believe that's the one thing the rest of us already noticed, since it's such a glaring problem!
  16. Any idea what the 4 different ways it can be built are?
  17. Mr. Furious: Okay, am I the only one who finds these sayings just a little bit formulaic? "If you want to push something down, you have to pull it up. If you want to go left, you have to go right." It's... The Sphinx: Your temper is very quick, my friend. But until you learn to master your rage... Mr. Furious: ...your rage will become your master? That's what you were going to say. Right? Right? The Sphinx: Not necessarily.
  18. For me it depends. I'll first look at the local hobby shops (Hobbytown and King Kong Hobbies). If I don't find the kits I want, or I know that they are old releases, I'll look online (eBay, Hobbylinc, jiminohio, model roundup, etc.)
  19. Don't know if they're exactly terrible, but they are inaccurate. The Italeri American Superliner and US Reefer trailer. Truck has too wide of a cab, wrong frame, wrong suspension, wrong steering, and a few other things. Trailer is wrong height, no fuel tank, too large hubs, wrong location of leveling legs. However, they are otherwise great kits in that they have great detail and build up nice.
  20. Loooking gooood! Just don't knock it off the railing!
  21. Well looking at the instructions, you would have to reposition the torsion arms and shorten the shocks.
  22. Did I make a wrong turn into the old guy forums?
  23. Depends what kind you're looking for. Pegasus wheels come in many styles, and have both large-backspaced wheels as well as smaller-backspaced wheels (of each wheel style). You could basically buy one set of 4 of each backspacing and mix them together to get your staggered set (2 sets actually). However, that's if you want larger 18-19" style wheels. Good place to find them is Scale Dreams.
