  1. Sunset on the beach .. well done .. car and photos!
  2. that would be impossible .. Jon's a New Hampshire resident .. either someone bought a new car or someone else bought a new car
  3. You could put two Viper V10's in that and and paint Candy Apple Red and it world still be a sleeper!
  4. This is a total mess!! VERY WELL DONE! It all just looks right .. so many detail colors ..))
  5. Looks very good! I always like black and white police colors, but this one was uninspired. The new NYSP cars do look better. ... and that's not a comment on your build here. . it's a good one and great to see what they did back then!
  6. No, thread was about '40 Ford ..as was my comment.
  7. The bullet and smoke is a brilliant touch!
  8. Good to see you're posting pics now, Mark .. and what a great photo that is! It looks like two shots .. body and chassis .. with some transparency on the body .. the registration is perfect! How did you do this?
  9. yeah, I bought that one when new .. long gone now. ((
  10. A fantastic build! .. so many subtle little things that make the whole stand out!
  11. this is exactly how I applied it .. it's very fine an goes to show how big flocking is for carpet. I used a small camera lens brush/blower to get the loose specks out of the interior .. it is very fine and attracts to everything.
  12. I had to take Win8 with a new laptop I got my Mom (93 years old) and also one I got. Neither of us use our computers like a phone, so the Start was pretty dumb to use. I found Classic Shell which is a free program to make Win8 start just like it always had at the desktop. You can even make it look like XP if you choose! It has worked without fail for almost a year for me now. Anyone using Win8 should get this I'd say.
  13. I'm fascinated seeing your work progress and enjoying you gift to us all of your build progress. Something I'd never attempt, but wouldn't miss watching! Those last metal body panels really opened my eyes .. wonderful!
  14. I don't get any of this. The code we all use to post photos is something like 20 years or more old. You'd think all these forum coders would have learned how to code this use by now. And web browser coders would have learned how rt do it correctly also. To me it's one of the oldest and simplest things on the web. Why doesn't this work for everyone all the time. Ole of those Mysteries of Life ...
  15. Isn't this a model car forum?
  16. Thin white glue is all I used. I did have a few thick areas that the powder clumped in and was more visible than when it happens with flocking. I do think it looks much better than flocking as far as carpet goes.
  17. I picked some up at Michaels too .. the 2 on left are fine and the right one looks too coarse once I opened it. Here it is applied in a Porsche 944 .. I used the white powder and painted with a thinned semi-gloss with a brush.
  18. Looks great in paint!
  19. That's a brilliant weathering job! Perfectly done for the job it's doing .. not overdone .. you KNOW it's been working a long time.
  20. If you're using Internet Explorer, now would be a good time to go to Firefox or Chrome. Not only are they vastly superior browsers there have been noted problems with IE and photos on this site.
  21. Just happened to look in on this and was really enjoying your details. Your photos and explanations make it very interesting. I'll be watching now.
  22. The chair is a beautiful piece!
