  2. THIS I wan to see!
  3. 1/35th ? You are cruel to yourself, Randy. But, generous to us ... that is amazing just this far into it!
  4. Yes, I remember the putty, but the kits were new when I bought them and the putty was quite good considering the other options available at the time .. like wood putty! .. I used that a lot!
  5. I have to agree with Dave. I needed some purple tinted windows for my daughter's van I'm building and found some report covers at Staples pretty close to th eright color. There were MANY colors to choose from. They were .005" thick. This is just a tape up to see how the color was ...
  6. You car must have been popular .. considering all the people who must have abused it so! Nice job!
  7. Beautiful build, Curt! I always loved the paint job on this car.
  8. I was afraid of prying the tail light out as It could chip the side, so I just ground away from the back and they just popped out! As you can see, the fromt door handle was already cut out to mount in my daughter's van, so body was already shot. The left one had a little primer over spray so It's soaking in the purple pond. Soon as I get you're addy they're off. And, I don't want anything, just remember when you can help someone else here. Someone just sent me the rear side lights for my van also ... it works.
  9. Here's what I had to go thru to get the two doors on my build! Had to remove the heavy slid molding at the roof, add a door handle cut from another van body, add hinges cast from the from another body. And, for your tail lights ... the spare body I used for my door has tail lights glued on. It was a built spare I got for parts. I'll be happy to send them to you .. just PM me your address. I have to work a little to get them unglued .. I'll cut the body up if I have to!
  10. I assume you're on the west coast of Florida? Don't mind me ,, good luck with the club.
  11. Now I'm getting interested!
  12. I'm having fun just watching this!
  13. This is just plain, downright GOOD looking!! I like that push bar thru the spare hole ..
  14. It's basically a degreaser ... most likely a different brand name over there.
  15. I'm not sure where the ones I have were from but they are on a black backing. Outside they are .513" x .30" and inside are .453" x .214".
  16. I have a Fleetline in the box waiting for me .. your wip showing how you chopped it will be very useful when I get to that .. thanks!
  17. She lives close and see's it as it's done. I send her links to this page also when I post. She's VERY appreciative!
  18. That's because I didn't have to use brass to make it!!!
  19. This is a drop dead gorgeous build!
  20. Thanks guys. She is getting this interior link now!
  21. That pickup bed is BEAUTIFUL!
  22. The weathering is nice and subtle ... very nice. Interesting that this version has the two opening side door rather that the slider .. or did you do that? I had to scribe those on my daughter's van I've been on forever!
  23. The interior is DONE! ... unless I think of something else .. The pillows are felt sewn and stuffed. The dog leash is yarn with a catch file shaped from some flattened soft plant wire. Dog's throwing sticks are just that ... sticks. I did just notice the dash needs a couple air vents.
  24. good looking two tone!
