  1. Very nice. I'm a Healey lover from way back and especially love the white/grey one. There were many that color combo here in the States. I should probably get over my scale bias and go for some diecasts .. there's just too many of the cars I love there
  2. Steven, the windshield treatment of that deuce is awesome!
  3. Everything about this looks good!
  4. Just a little touch up .. the buttons needed labeling, a Zombie kill count needed and the detail shop didn't scrub the blade so well for this photo shoot.
  5. Nicely done! Talk about long and low!
  6. Wayne .. that is simply stunning! .. nice job!
  7. A great looking build and stunning job on the photos!
  8. Unfortunately, the screen I used on my Mouse Rod was from K$S and is no longer sold. I had to lessen the area I planned to cover because of the unavailability. I do have a small piece of similar PE mesh from Model Car Garage. It is 1.5" x 3" in size. Kind of expensive for such a small size, but it's of nice quality. I also have a smaller piece of mesh done in a plastic, but don't know where that came from.
  9. I think this is good ... specifically designed lenses always are better than the compromised plastic things. These cameras will offer a good compromise for those wanting better shots without the very expensive digital SLR's with lenses that cost MORE than the camera! I'm a SLR user from way back .. my first was in the '60's. I've gone digital with much pleasure .. these new digital SLR's can do SO much more than film. I have a versatile zoom for everyday shooting and also an extreme wide angle that admittedly doesn't get much use. If just for the special close up lens, car modelers can't go wrong with one of these interchangeable lenses if you want to get more from your photography.

    75 Cutlass

Shaping up VERY nicely! .. will be watching ..
  11. I'm just glad this isn't Harry's "Real or Model" thread ... I wouldn't know how to vote! You've surpassed yourself, John! Unusual subject done incredibly well!
  12. oh .. please keep this one going!!!!!
  13. That's really good to hear. Ft. Wayne was the "big city" when I was in college (Angola) and glad to see the hobby is safe there!
  14. It's just a second cover that came with my mouse, I didn't take a mouse apart. The opening for the interior was already there as it fit over the wheel and buttons.
  15. I'm really liking the pickup
  16. I doesn't matter what digital camera you have, They all have memory cards which Windows recognizes as a storage device (hard disk, if you will) and you just use Explorer and copy to your hard disk from the "Removable Device", as it shows in the file listing. I'm on my 7th digital camera and I've never once used the wasteful CD that comes with them all. Copying files is pretty basic stuff. Everyone using Windows should learn what a file is and just do it!
  17. I agree with George. This is a 32 Ford I widened that way and you can see in this pic how it was done. ... The idea would be the same o a step side fender.
  18. A couple final shots of the Mouse Rod on it's display base. This has been a blast and it STILL is watching everything being done here!
  19. I made a small diorama on the base of a plastic display case using Berkshire Mountains dirt and stones. A few Silflor weeds and we have a bit more believable base. I do keep seeing little touches I could add ... yes, Zombie blood stains on the front blade! I also wanted to add some text decal on the two side buttons but nothing has come to mind yet. I'd love some ideas. (newer photos with blood and decals added during Fotki update)
  20. I've been lurking here all along and enjoying immensely watching you work! Just had to raise my hand cause I can't speak ..
  21. Whoa .. that looks cool! That gun is mean looking and the VW body looks like it belongs.
  22. Both are excellent paints ... old time railroad paints. The color selection is vast!
  23. Those Porsche wheels DO belong. Very nice build of a great kit!
  24. Thanks for all the overwhelming comments! And to think, I'm the most non-Zombie person in the world ... I don't think I've sat through one Zombie movie in my life ... I avoid them like Zombies! This just shows how much fun we ARE having in the Zombie Hunter build!!!!
