  1. I haven't submitter anything for this, but being Revell AND a photo contest, there HAS to be submittal guidelines posted. Max resolution and file size has to be there somewhere.
  2. There's no direct correlation between file size and resolution. It depends on the photo itself and the amount of compression your editor gives .jpeg files. or any other type of file you use.
  3. The nice thing about flaws in your mind is that we can't see them there. Most here don't judge .. just enjoy the candy! That paint looks spectacular!
  4. Maybe now everyone will believe me when I call the Nova a BOX!
  5. Bondo is a brand many use.
  6. The best is a two-part auto putty. Next, a one part auto putty for thin coatings where shrinkage won't be a problem.
  7. This keeps looking better and better. Glad to see the body casting is working.
  8. There should ALWAYS be a '49 Merc on the workbench!
  9. That's a ratty job on the body .. excellent!
  10. Simply beautiful .. with history!
  11. I used to bolt and unbolt rockets together ... mine had 4 pieces and was 3 feet in diameter ... and I use photobucket!
  12. ehhe .. It may have been just the size .. compared to Angola! This WAS in the early seventies .. and memories are blurry ...

    Hudson...done

This belongs on the showroom floor.
  16. With things looking a little slow, here's an update on my Mouse Rod with a request for some thoughts from you real Zombie fanatics ..... I made a bomber seat after a few tries at a rounder shape, This satisfies me and it does swivel so the Browning can be manned from the seat. The water cooling barrel wouldn't stick so it's in from on ground. The mount for the Browning is about done.. swivels horizontal and vertical thou balance will be a problem for posing. The engine is getting assembled as I speak and I'm liking how it will look. The extra ait intake is overdone but I just like the look. Guess a higher capacity fan just wasn't in the junk pile. The turbo intake on the ground will connect into the front of the fan housing. The TOP is one of my problems. I have a crude windshield on that would be filled with screening. I keep thinking the side should be protected also with screening but the asymmetrical body is resisting anything easy. Will it be unreasonable to just leave it a roadster? This is supposed to be a fast scout car and not for combat. Ant suggestions would be much appreciated! Along with the top, some sort of side and front protection seems appropriate. Thinking of some side and front bars similar to those on dirt modifieds. Maybe some sharp edges too. Here's another place some ideas would help. Paint is still up in the air but the red oxide in these photos is final. I'm thinking of just some dark rust paint over all the body and interior and then lighter rust and various weathering all over.
  17. aye .. as any body putty with go with the paint when you DO strip it.
  18. I thought the roof was stolen from VW's.
  19. Very realistic ... shredded tires, damage and weathering. Poor thing feels like a turtle on it's back
