This is a track nose I used but I don't know what kit it's from. I suspect I got it in some junkyard parts. Maybe the photos will spark someone's memory. Tho opening looks close to the Midget Racer Bill showed.
I liked the grill opening on this one better than most I see.
This is really cool! I like the whole shape and your paint job enhances it. They must have had really narrow roads to not know how to U-Turn!
You did a wonderful job on this!
I should try an Armor kit to get me back on the bench
That soaking rain yesterday looks to have been worth it, thou it didn't spark me. That lettering looks good ... what a job cutting that out! You were cranking ... all looking great and that steering knocks me out!
It's good to see this bumped up again, but I still haven't finished mine ... it did appear on the bench a week ago so here's a shot to help the thread ... and me to complete it!
I've been watching all along and seeing good progress in the trunk. The extension looks like it will contribute much to making the car look longer and shallower.
Welcome, Marius. I was in Columbia for a couple months 50 years ago while in Basic Training. Being a Yankee, I was amazed when the city shut down with just a dusting of snow!
That would only leave about a 1/8" piece on each side. The nose has to rotate straight down to open, but even that could improve the fender ends with careful sculpting.
