  1. Here's a few rolling on the roads in the Berkshires I see this Nisson almost every day. The lightning was applied with an airbrush I had five of these, glad to see one still on the road.
  2. That is some amazing work!
  3. Welcome to the forum and your idea is not so crazy ......
  4. It took some time to replace all the photos with a Fotki link, but this was just too bid a W.I.P. for me to ignore. Here's a link to the final Under Glass photos.
  5. It keeps looking better and better ... fantastic detailing! And, all here should know your gun shop won Best of the Berkshires, a vote by customers of everything in the county!

    Beautifully done!
  7. That's a beautiful looking truck/casting! ... from a sports car person
  8. Beautiful job finishing this ... blew my mind when the engine lid was popped!
  9. I love the finish on this!
  10. I agree with all the comments above on this wonderful build!
  11. I like your idea to hot rod this. I'll be watching.
  12. Ok, I fixed the photos for the move to Fotki and found better photos of the 1:1. The paint is done and I only need to foil the trim and assemble ... I have to end this!
  13. I did just find photos of my Dad's 92 Crown Vic with Paintscratch factory paint, just in mockup after painting. Bill mentioned clear coat and PaintScratch does have a clear compatable with their paint if that's seems a problem.
  14. I don't have any shiny photos as the ones I have are of my daughter's cars which were pretty rough and the paint was done so. I was trying to make the paint look old, so don't take that as a good example of the paint itself. The green reliant is a metal die cast. The colors were spot-on matching the factory colors. Neither paint job was polished or clear-coated to keep it rough.
  15. I've used PaintScratch factory color paints many times am very pleased with the results. Most of my builds are of cars I have owned and their factory colors are correct. I usually use an airbrush but have tried their spray cans recently and have been pleased with my results with them. I highly recommend you try them.
  16. It's great to see a Volvo Wagon here ... looks great! What we need is a 1/24 145! eheh
  17. Foiling a '59 Chevy is one of the most trying jobs as I have an Impala that's been waiting for 20 years to complete the foil. You did a fine job on this, and not just the foil!

    That's coolness!
  19. Those colors make it pop! Good idea for a build. Looking good! It's good to see a Revell bus built ... a bus with engine and interior.
  20. I haven't tried a paint marker for white, but I used a Gelly Roll gell pen to do the raised piping on a black rubber seat and the coverage was spectacular. These are now my go-to for white pen on anything. The one I have is marked 08 for tip size while the link I gave is a MED point. Not sure of the difference. Mine looks like the point on that paint pen you showed. seem to have missplaced photos I took of the seats, sorry about that, but these are by far the best white markers I have encountered.
  21. photos moved to Fotki
  22. some beautiful detailing here!
