Ken- those wheels are straight from the Revell Impala kit, no refinishing of any sort, just the kit chrome.

Love it! How did I miss this back when you first posted it?

Tried to copy and paste into the reply box and it would not paste. I can copy the URL into the Image prompt box just fine, but for whatever reason it won't work when I try it in the reply box. That and the edit I made to my above post does not show up, even though the post is tagged at the bottom as having been edited. I can't figure out what's changed in the last two days- I've made no changes to the computer, no updates, etc. .

Image icon- right click the URL and paste it into the prompt box like always, but the screen just freezes up like Derrick says. I have my albums set up so that only I can post photos from them- anyone besides me (or me, if I'm not logged into Fotki) can't access the 'Share' feature. It's happening in every forum section I've tried so far.

Gotta get me that Enkei version. -
Amt '66 Riviera: your input, please
Chuck Most replied to Ace-Garageguy's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Fred- yes, the Lowrider Riv does include a lowrider bicycle. Sort of fussy to assemble but pretty cool looking when complete. I've heard one or two people say that the '66 Riv Nailhead is underscale, but pretty much any other existing 1:25 Nailhead part can be made to fit on it and still look consistent, so I'm not so sure, especially since I don't have access to a 1:1 Nailhead for measurements. Even IF it is, the engraved detail on the block and the number of separate parts pretty much blow all the other ones out of the water anyway. -
After letting it soak in, I'm officially going to call this one done. No roof lights, no push bar, just this. Thank you all for playing!

Say, Juju- if you want to buy a car from a manufacturer that was bankrupt just a few short years ago, be my guest. Me? I'm not a gambling kind of man. John Morrison- Thanks for that link- wasn't aware Mays' retirement was coming that soon! Still, you'll be seeing his influence for a few years yet as new product comes out of the pipeline. Skip- As an Infiniti owner, you should know the division's full name is Infiniti Motor Company Ltd. . Don't you think that "Ltd." tacked onto the end would make their name just a little bit snottier than Lincoln's? And no, I can't knock Infiniti- they're the scrappy underdog of the Japanese premium cars, after all. I just hope they don't screw themselves with their new naming strategy (all new Infiniti models from here out will be Q-Something-or-others...).

Not if they were uploaded an hour ago. They posted just fine on a couple of ProBoards forums.

Mostly thrown together from a motorized Tamiya kit- I added spares box Minilite wheels, Satco Michelins, and left out the electric motor. Pretty far from my best effort ever, but glad I finally built the thing.

Love how that Olds looks! (Also, I'm guessing, like me, for some reason you can't post pics from your photo host site at the moment?)

It's still better than any of the new Cadillacs (wonder why Mercedes Benz hasn't sued for copyright infringement yet, or do they see the new Cadillacs and just take it as flattery?), especially when you consider that it's still a good idea to trust a GM vehicle no further than you can push it. Pretty sure J. Mays can figure something out, if Ford is willing to give him a few years. And since Ford has said they're committed to bringing Lincoln back to its former glory, it just might happen. This MKC might work as a stopgap, but I hope they aren't putting all their eggs in one basket.

Rumor has it he had a few reservations about doing the stunt when he was told the trucks would be running in reverse... but then again, who wouldn't?

1/25 Revell '70 Plymouth HEMI 'Cuda 2'n1

Yes, but they did it so poorly the first two times, I think they owe us one more shout at it, wouldn't you say? Third time's the charm, so they say.... I'm messing around with the idea of building one just that way, wearing a brown paint job no less. -
Nope- everything that isn't painted is black, some of it looks bluish because it's been fried by UV rays and such. Oh, and the stuff on the floor? You could say it's like trail mix, for rodents- mice, squirrels and the like just love making nests in abandoned cars. There was even a nest in the air cleaner housing.

I did go ahead and slap on some spotlights... they're from a Lindberg Crown Vic (Ohio State Police, I think.)

Man, those old annuals came with some wacky looking custom accessories!

The '82 Scooter I had not only had a back seat, but yes, it did have carpet... AND and AM single-speaker radio! No glove box door, though... These were the only pics I have of the interior- as you can see, lots of black vinyl, cardboard door panels, and lots of body-color steel visible throughout!

remember the AMT "Iron Horse" Mustang?

Please do keep us posted. -
I've never seen this body in person, but I can vouch for Ed making some really nice stuff. I have three of his '36 Ford truck grilles, and love the quality of them. My only gripe is on my side- I don't order enough stuff from him! What Dan said, Charlie.

No, no, no, Craig... Yamaha bought them out, that's why the V-Rod is so awesome. Or so a former co-worker of mine would insist.
