  1. Yeah, that's one of the reasons I did it!
  2. Wonder what 30 weight oil would be in 1:4 scale...
  3. For me, it all started with an innocent little 1:32 scale Monogram snap together Fox Mustang. It's just snowballed from that point on.
  4. Don't you just hate it.... You're moving along with a project, making great progress. Then later on, you have the saw in one hand. And the body in the other. You sneeze, and BANG... You accidentally chop off the roof?
  5. Dave- here it is with a '66 Fairlane (1:25 midsize car) Help any?
  6. I've had slightly better luck with Bing, but yeah, normally the search engines are my first choice. But there are some times where just skipping to maloo and asking the experts is the best course of action.
  7. Looks awesome- particularly in open-top mode.
  8. Added a half-hearted GM subframe swap to bring down the nose. Dredged up some Chevy Rally wheels from the parts box, and plucked some skirts from a '49 Ford.
  9. I think you are thinking of the Lark- I remember reading an old SAE article by Rick Hanmore and he mentioned he thought it was a bit closer to 1:24. As far as this one, I'm not totally certain, but it is listed as 1:25 and it appears at least close to that.
  10. Oh, irony! But still, I don't think anyone needs proof you can drive a technologically archaic car... that's all that EVERYBODY drove at the time, right?
  11. I think that's a bit different- that's more of a 'dual-branded' product. The earlier Model King issues by AMT and Lindberg had their respective manufacturers 'brand' on the product along with Model King's, this will still be labeled with the Moebius AND Model King kits. Model King is merely the distrubutor, just like Testors in the case of their version of the Charger.I wouldn't consider the arrangement regarding the Charger kit as odd, although for somenoe who's new to the hobby or not as knowledgeable about who produces what, it has the potential to be pretty confusing.
  12. Yeah- I was really stoked when I found the coupe with the front end sheet metal off, then I stumbled across the stripped convert unibody... wow! Dave- not sure if the panels bolted on. I know Studebakers of the same vintage had bolt-on body panels, but I have no clue about the Hudsons. I was really blown away by those inner fender housings, though!
  13. Nothing wrong with a stock Hornet, if you ask me. Lovely build, Len!
  14. Oh lawdy, that is cool! Always liked those cab-forward GM rigs.
  15. Dominik- not sure what exactly you have in mind for the kit, but judging from the rest of your models, it'll be very cool. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
  16. Is it just the tires? I don't have any Cavalier kits at the moment, but I do intend on picking up a few of them.
  17. And a set of four-lug Ansens would look killer on that AMT Opel GT I have stashed away!
  18. The scooter would be cool to have, too.
  19. Not too many, but a few here- http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=531295
  20. For me, anywhere from a few days... To a few YEARS... and counting!
  21. Might be no last name in the 'full name' field.
  22. And I think ALL of the Pacer kits by MPC and AMT had the six- I've been looking for one of those for a while!
