  1. Harry, I had a life changing episode in 1998 that laid me up for about three months..Had to learn to walk again and use my left side again..I worked had and never quit..I did pray a lot and now I have some small deficets but can live fairly normal..Don't know your circumstances but NEVER give up no matter how bad..Good luck on your recovery and I will send prayers your way..Take care..
  2. I didn't get nothing new today..My wife did though, a new right knee..Courtesy of Manitoba government..Health care isn't fee in Canada like everyone thinks..We pay dearly for it through our taxes..Nice to cash in once in a while...
  3. Very nice job on the Belvedere..Only one fault and its not yours..The car should have come with a bench front seat..You've done a very clean build of a real nice car..I owned a 65 Coronet 383/4gear car in the same color..Wish I still had it..Your Belvedere sure brings back memories of it..
  4. Cool Hand... WOW what a beauty..I use the cleaner only its in a maroon container but the Hi Tech is silicone based..I use it on my 1:1 64 Fury Convertible..Sure is nice stuff..Oh, and did I say, your Buick is awsome...?
  5. I had a 61 Windsor 2 dr ht..The front clip is different and yes even the doors are just a tad smaller on the Windsor..New Yorker and 300 are the same body..
  6. As in the real car world, airbrush or can can look good with a little finesse after the final clear or top coat..Some wetsanding and polish will make any paint job perfect...I use 2000 wet, then Meguiar's Cleaner/Scratch X 2.0 then follow up with Meguiar's Gold Class paste..You can go with finer wet/dry but I have luck going to 2000..
  7. Very nicely done on a car I've never seen..What scale is that, 1/32..?
  8. That is a pretty sweet ride..The resto is very nicely done as is the BMF..Torque Thust wheels are da bomb....Very clean,clean,clean..
  9. Very nice..That black paint looks like water and your foiling in fantastic..Very nice build and clean, clean, clean,
  10. Snake you're pretty much on..The Chrysler Corporation was going to release the "B" body cars in 1970 but with the debut of the "E" body cars it became too costly..That is why they were a year late..E and B body cars share lots of parts too..Same width so stuff like w/shields and some interior parts and under hood parts are the same..Basic chassis is the same abeit the wheelbases..
  11. Paul Hettick's stuff is beyond beautiful..He is definately the master..I would however like to see some of his stuff with the engine detail if possible..Not a criticizm, but would like to see his engine detail for that kind of money...Thanks...
  12. Mike if you've got my number I might have one for you..Unbuilt and not crused..Give me a call..You've got to look up my number because I will not post it on the computer..
  13. Petski, I don't think that blue GTX convertible is one of Paul's auctions..It refers to other items viewed, doesn't necissarily mean the auction holders...
  14. Not really any cricizm I'd just want it if I was paying big money like that.. I sure hope he does all the wiring and plumbing for that kind of coin..His models are more than just fantastic..I always though the stuff from Danbury Mint was nice, but Paul's models will out do theirs any day..Like in the car business, there is a bum for every seat..There is always someone who will pay for the model they want..

  16. The front and rear bumpers are the same and so are the lower panels..All the scripts were on the body..
  17. The one I use is in a large Duplicolor can with a black coloring..I do use the Perfect Match paints though..How does PM clear look when you shoot it from the can? Is there much polishing/wet sanding to do..
  18. Steve, I use Duplicolor clear in the Black can..The Blue can just doesn't dry right..I says acrylic enamel on the tin but dries and hardens like lacquer..I haven't tried it over enamel but will soon on a painted 61 Dodge I bought off the bay years ago..If it works okay but if it doesn't, looks like I will be painting another model...
  19. What you see in the box is what you get..Just the top down Fury..The annual kit had an up top but not this one..
  20. Beauty, just hope you don't put those awful numbers on the doors..It looks real good without that Dukes BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH...
  21. Not in green or any other color other than with white..With white you could have green,blue,tan,black...The carpets, front kick panels, package tray, console and dash. Steering wheel was color and so was the upper metal part on the door panels, as was the metal part on the lower part..The rest was white including the headliner..Seat belts were colored...Had a 69 Sport Satellite with tan and white interior..

    Superbird

Good lookin' Bird..If I can make one suggestion? All Mopars(Chrysler Products) are the same color under hood as the car..Sides,firewall and rad support and under the hood...
  23. Obsessive is right..I use Meguiar's Cleaner and its great..I have recently used Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 and found it is real good too..I then finish with Meguiar's Gold Class paste(not too heavy on the rag)..Also use flannel and not an old t-shirt..Flannel is softer..Use it to apply and polish..You will see great results..Mr.Obsessive knows what he it talking, about and is one of the foremost model builders in the USA...
  24. CLEAN.....CLEAN.....CLEAN very nicely done..
  25. You did just fine..Very nicely done although I'am not a wheels fan..Super clean build in nice outstanding colors...
