  1. Scott, According to the owner the car ran a 140 H.P. Corvair motor that fell into K/S class. It is reported to have won MIDDLE STOCK and TOP STOCK Eliminator or several occasions... as a side note, this car was from my area when I was a kid. It was part of a local car club that had several drag cars running at Ol Bridge Stadium and later at Englishtown or Madison Twp. if you will !!!
  2. Fellas, This car was a regular winner at the Old Bridge Stadium Drags in New Jersey "back in the day" ...
  3. Holy smokes...lots of work, super result !!!
  4. John, That's the one...thanks for the memories !!! :D
  5. Thanks for the review, lots of interesting info on one of my "holy grail" type oldie kits...I recall once having a kit of a red AMT '57 Thunderbird. I believe it was from a series called "Elegance", the kit included blue tinted glass and a can of AMT Pearl paint. I just don't remember which T-bird actually came in the box ???
  6. Super, great attention to detail !!!
  7. Niko, Very nice work, I'm especially impressed with the chassis renovations you performed...I've got a similar build on my "long term table" that is being "seasoned" if you will. I'll be watching your progress with great interest !!!
  8. Fellas, I wonder if anyone has designed and or built a jig to help in the assembly of these chassis...if so maybe a few pics would go a long way to help some of these builds along.
  9. Fellas, I vote for reissuing Roadster Speed Equipment !!! :D
  10. Super nice, the pictures look like a 1:1 sales brochure from "back in the day " !!!

  18. Great job, super detailing...I especially like the idea of polishing the unpainted body !!!
  19. John, Many of us have been holding our breath too long waiting for the old Monogram hot rods to return...let's keep our fingers crossed that the trend continues. Like maybe the Little "T" with the wide whites and chrome reverse wheels and baby moons ?
  20. Happy , Happy !!!
  21. Really nice build, great color combo, super sanitary !!!
  22. Fellas, I feel lucky that we can have these kits available once again, especially with the above mentioned new/old additions. Being an old timer I really enjoy seeing some of the restored parts as well as the excellent box art. Strange as it may sound to some, it's exciting to buy one of these kits almost as exciting as "back in the day". Maybe it's a case of a second childhood...
  23. Great job...nice chop. Really like the '40 Ford dash and the wheel/tire treatment !!!
