This will happen more and more often. They are discovering that these EV batteries are subject to damage just riding around in their vehicles. Bumps and under body damage can cause a 'run away cell' ' that will in the end catch fire. When my brother in law bought a VOLT I told him never park inside. He laughed and then a few weeks later a BIG house burned to the ground near him in Charlotte when their VP:T caught fire. The VOLT lived outside after that. Hope all were OK

VERY COOL!!!! We bought a 84 Mercury Topaz 4 door. NOT a great car. Trans went out at 20K niles. The 2 door Fords were pretty rare although a co-worker of my wifes had a 2 door manual trans car. Kinda like to have it!!

Days of Thunder Sequel Maybe
Dave Van replied to Leo64's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Being involved in NASCAR from 1984 to 1999......I had hopes for the film. But DoT turned out to be the worst NASCAR based film. 'Last American Hero' was a great film. Talladega Nights' was a comedy and more accurate than DoT. So plez....no sequel for DoT. I did love the cars!!! -
What ever happened to the AMT Ertl backhoe?
Dave Van replied to the60falcon's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
MY UNDERSTANDING: Ertl kept the John Deer tooling as they still had, and have, a license with JD. -
