  1. What's a 'resin Joke figure'??? I like the kit....built a few.
  2. Thanks!.....not much hard data....but you gotta start somewhere!!
  3. I can only find a old RoG FB site. A link??? Also the Revell USA website has removed the TD Rommel's and Baja Bandito pre order and are not to be found.
  4. They reissue the 69 Mercury, 76 Chevy Laguna S-3, 71 Mercury and 71 Allison Monte Carlo in the past 2 years....not sure what you mean??? And a birdie tells me of another one at least....... Yes...the old RM kits, some with 35 year old decals, sell in the $10 range. But Salvino's is going to retool and modify this tooling along with much improved decals for cars not kitted and printed by Cartagraph. (sp). I get their plan. We did the AMT & MPC kits at Model King and sold out fast. IMHO only!
  5. BIG STEP ON THAT WINDSHIELD!!
  6. I like it........get a few more
  7. 100% correct and I am so happy someone is willing to save this tooling!!!! Thanks Atlantis........you saved this tooling from become just another KIA!!!!
  8. Dad worked with TV Tommy while Valvoline racing director 1960-70. Tommy was the only driver Mom got excited about meeting!! I love to see him again. GREAT build!
  9. I was worried about the '73 Javelin involved it the shoot out!!! I want to go to ABQ and get her!!
  10. Better to aks forgiveness than permission. Back when I was doing licensing deals in NASCAR and I went to a big beer company....that is what I was told. We could do the beer sponsored car.....but the beer company could not give us permission in case it went ugly. They could claim they didn't know....and issue a CaD order.
  11. Something strange.......About us has Elk Groove office which I understand is gone. Online catalog has a odd mix of old Revell USA and RoG kits. Rommel's Rod is not in catalog but can be back ordered?? Kinda a half backed update with lots of bad info....maybe they are working on it???
  12. Accurate Minitures NASCAR Ford........ I have enough parts to build a few cars.....someday....
  13. Just glad all the tooling didn't become Kia's.......
  14. Thanks....old age moved in. I had to go down and look for one....then it was 'Doh!!'. That box art was not very memorable. thx
  15. Was the Cope Lumina a limited kit??? I don't think I have it......thx
  16. I have a set of drawings for the 82 Bird that Bob Johnson did off the real car. It was done AFTER the 83, 87 and 89 Birds. The real car was Bill Elliott's Riverside winner which was owned by a neighbor of mine in NC. It is based of the 83-87-89 chassis.
  17. Brett beat me.....I went downstairs and the DE Sr Squarebird is a USA kit.....that's good I hope.
  18. No Lumina = no Olds....... BUT.....it depends....I was always under the impression the Monte Carlo chassis was cloned off the Lumina. The Monte version was much softer in detail and had screw mounts for the body the Lumina didn't. Add to it the Lumina tool was a USA cut tool....the Monte Carlo a China based tool. We'll see.....
  19. Parked next to me at last car show....I need to build it!
  20. My understanding is they will be using the tooling with modifications to make kits never done before. The racing builders for the most part are excited about the possibilities. Folks investing in this hobby is good no matter what subject.
  21. Dupli-coplor is part of Serwin-Williams now my local store that I got my Dupli-color closed....to the net!!
  22. Only those directly involved know what tooling was sold to Atlantis.......until they say, if they ever do, we'll not know.
  23. Interesting for sure.......love to see a list of tooling.
  24. I bought a bunch of those WM versions. I was stuck in the hospital a number times and built a few of the pre-paints in my room!!!
