  1. Tough looking ride!! Nice work! I did the decal art for that one....nice to see it built....even a slight mod!
  2. BTW nice work so far......I have one finished and 3 more to go.....
  3. The RM 34 snapper is not bad......
  4. The MonogramIMSA Miller and Ford Motorsports Mustangs are the same car slightly altered for IMSA spec. They would be perfect.
  5. Matthews NC had a handful last week when I was there.
  6. I built the kit way back when it first came out.....do not have one now. I just recall getting a AMT 34 Ford kit and being surprised in the size difference.
  7. Cute little model.......must be about 1/29 scale. Sad too as if scale it'd be nice!
  8. Kinda wonder if it's cobbled up from junkers........and it meets a bad end!!!!
  9. the last 2 weeks Nacho's Javelin has been featured in a few scenes. Bur it's a odd mix. 73-74 body, Javelin hood, AMX grille....72 style vinyl roof......but I love it,
  10. DEMAND PRICING.......welcome to the brave new world of retail. Amazon alone changes 1 million prices a week. The kit you site, as stated, is a private seller selling on WalMart....much like Amazon. I pay no attention....
  11. Builder made 1/24 versions of the 1/8 kits by bashing parts and making decals.....
  12. NICE work!!! I have a few of those in my stash.
  13. A nice AMT ZZR spy car.........I have a bad glue bomb missing vital parts.....
  14. Nothing new Concord or Matthews NC. This dump came from Hobbico wholesale which was one of the biggest. So they have a lot of inventory. Not a reflection on who sold what...but rater how much stock a wholesaler had.
  15. NO facespace here.........many reasons.....
  16. #51 was my number in SCCA and Dad was head Valvoline SoCal 1960-70.....so an easy choice for me!!!
  17. Chrome had a involuntary update this week too. Changed some of my settings.... As a retired Computer System Analyst I hate these forced updates.....Windows have it to now. You can try and block some....but not all. Leave me alone!!
  18. Nice work....I tried a Olds conversion back when these kits came out.....yours is much better....
  19. Had it for a while but never got her out and took photos....... G scale listed as 1/29 scale PCC Trolley in Philly '76 colors. I got it to display with models....close enough.
  20. Good discussion.....hope it stays civil...I agree but better keep mouth closed !!!
  21. Me too!!! I live in WV now....but grew up over off Knott's @ La Palma. We'd go every week.....I'm old enough to have gone when it had no fence or gate cost. I love the steam but only go on low attendance days so we can just walk and look for parts of old Knott's. The crew spent 20 minutes showing us the Goose because no one was waiting to ride!! That's how I like it! Here is a visit on fuzzy 8mm film about 1961 (says 62 but Dad later said he thought 61....either way)
  22. Agreed..... IE: OJ.....
  23. Nice work!!! Always had a like for the old River Boats. The river boat at Disney land is a real steam powered ship.....we went one day....a few years ago....rained all day. Took two trips on the boat as the crew was giving us a 'tour' of the boat and how it worked. 99.99% of the folks never really think about it.
