  1. Saw that in the regular New Ray line.....my only issue was the chopped door bottoms!!! How $$$
  2. I understand....hang tough.....

  3. Soak in vinegar for a few minutes....wash, dry .......spray with a good primer. Metal etching primer if you have it.

  6. what is the kit 2nd shelf ftom top???? thx
  7. 99% Dupli-color and Tamiya. Just high quality paint. A synthetic lacquer it can be thinner but maintain color and shine.
  8. These builds are all from a box that has been packed away for more than 18 years. Most never photographed as I was holding on to my Pentax K-1000 35mm and hoping digital was a fad!!! So I figured they needed to come out of the dark!!thx This one was built as soon as the Monogram Buick kit came out and Fred Cady did the Foyt decals. I built this as a Foyt fan, Dad was head of Valvoline racing, I drove bus #51 and my SCCA car number was #51. Nose was modified to a semi accurate Olds from the Buick.....the rest box stock. Testors spray can red! Grille screen is cloth from the wife's sewing stash! thanks!
  9. That last bright ed is a Business coupe.....4 door front doors thus shorter. But the Revell coupe and AMT 41 with work can make a good 41 coupe...
  10. In looking for something else....I ran into a large box of my built models.......all built before I moved to WV in 2002. Decided they needed to see the light of day......don't think they have ever been shown. First up, as it was pretty clean and intact, a Tamiya Zakspeed Gr5 Ford Capri racer. Pretty much box stock with Testors Comp Orange spray (pre Tamiya) Aftermarket decals as I like the Jagermeister cars and kit decals were garbage. I'll post more as I go through them...Thanks for looking!!
  11. got shipped notice....happy and sad......
  12. Cool project....
  13. It's the same kit that AMT has issued since the late 1960's. I like it....it's simple but much like the real cars were at the time..... My buddy's build....slightly altered.....
  14. Check Trainworld.com and look a G scale structures....a good many. I build mine scratch.....
  15. getting closer......I'm 24500.......
  16. What's a 'resin Joke figure'??? I like the kit....built a few.
  17. Thanks!.....not much hard data....but you gotta start somewhere!!
  18. I can only find a old RoG FB site. A link??? Also the Revell USA website has removed the TD Rommel's and Baja Bandito pre order and are not to be found.
  19. They reissue the 69 Mercury, 76 Chevy Laguna S-3, 71 Mercury and 71 Allison Monte Carlo in the past 2 years....not sure what you mean??? And a birdie tells me of another one at least....... Yes...the old RM kits, some with 35 year old decals, sell in the $10 range. But Salvino's is going to retool and modify this tooling along with much improved decals for cars not kitted and printed by Cartagraph. (sp). I get their plan. We did the AMT & MPC kits at Model King and sold out fast. IMHO only!
  20. BIG STEP ON THAT WINDSHIELD!!
  21. I like it........get a few more
  22. 100% correct and I am so happy someone is willing to save this tooling!!!! Thanks Atlantis........you saved this tooling from become just another KIA!!!!
  23. Dad worked with TV Tommy while Valvoline racing director 1960-70. Tommy was the only driver Mom got excited about meeting!! I love to see him again. GREAT build!
