  1. Testors '32 Chrysler . Monogram '30 Packard Speedster Boat-tail , '35 Monogram Town Car Dusenburgh (note , built in 1978) , 1934 Monogram Dusenburgh Sport (pidittle - I would hate to dive this at night) , Lindburgh Dr Fuch Bugatti Royal (1) , Itialiar Bugatti Royal (2) , Heller Bugatti Royal (3) .. there were actually 6 made , Heller Typo 55 Bugatti , Blower Bently (defunct Japanese Kit - not Heller Version) , Bugatti Typo 35 Monogram , Monogram Mercedes 540 K , This Kit I finished just prior to the Franklin Mint Model in the same colors : Monogram Mercedes 540 K . I have more . Yes .. displaying Complete Builds is a problem I sure am glad to deal with . Especially now as my skills slide away at an alarming rate . From 1984 until 2001 these were built . I have many more . Yes , Tom , you don't see these finished much at all . I never too one to the Toledo (last one in the coming up Fall) Shows . Way to fragile to travel .

    '61 Lark

Although this is a dull Factory Stock build .. The research and effort I put into this build is what you see here . The Paint Job was a Color Match i formulated as Dave Dodge could not make this one at that time IIRC . Thios shade of Coral was not lijke anything prior to the Studebaker line in '61 . Enjoy .. Thanx ..
  3. Factory Stock is my Genera . Beautiful Replica .. stunning to see .. Thanx
  4. My Daughters want my Collection also . This is a valid point . Thanx ..
  5. He also Starred in the Movie about escaping Bad Guys from eternal imprisonment and returning them from Earth . Bazaar and funny .. Thanx
  6. Wasn't taken as sarcastic . I just did not and still do now about Choppers . I've never ran across any reference mater to read . The one I own and have read is : 'Book is 'Modern Helicopters' circa 1949 IIRC .. Yes , anything that moves itself I am way deep into Even Bridges if you get the meaning of this . Gangplank , Baltimore , MD . Thanx
  7. Ok . your version is something I've not heard of previously . The Version I heard was for new Pilots on land-bases equipped with Corsairs to keep them on the so called smoother ground designated as runways . These Pilots ware Carrier Base Trained Marines before shipped to the Pacific . Land based Airfields are a different Animal . Your version makes sense . i did not know where the Fuel Tanks are located . I just know these are self sealing . Something the Japanese lacked . . Thanx ..
  8. Ah Yes , surely I've seen these . I just cannot identify what is what . I am just asking here as others have . Please ID the Pics . If I post a Phaltz and a Fokker , would you know which was which ? How about a Bulton Paul Defiance , a ME 110 and a Mosquito all in primer without the International Markings . How well would you do ? I am curious beyond belief . I want to know .. Thanx ..
  9. I watched it . I saw the Car all through the entire Process . I am a retentive Factory Stock Model Car Builder . I appreciate the planning and work to see customs come to fruition . I admire customs . I also know reality . If it gets crashed , It will be repaired to the Original State of Manufacture . A Blue '85 Corvette . Even if just the front clip (doghouse needs an R&R) . Note here ; My Uncle's Ford Fairmont painted Earl Schieb Gray . It was crashed and the Doghouse replaced . It was painted the Original FoMoCo Silver , the dog house only . Totaled out , a '85 Corvette's replacement value only . This explains why Customs vanished in the '60's . Only displayed in Show Car Circuits . Not on the Streets as it is a painful experience to see your Art destroyed and fgiven a penny for your efforts . TY Insurance Companies . My Opinion it is is it is an interpretation of something that did not materialize . Well done and thought provoking as it was meant to be .. Thanx
  10. The only one I recognize this the Bell P39 Aircobra .. Thanx ..
  11. To the Japanese these were Whistling Death . Top Aircraft in my Book . The white outlines forward the canopy were the show the Pilot where he was in relation to the Flight Deck or Airfield . With a 9' Prop , the Pilot's View is severely obstructed on while on the the Landing Gear . The Japanese called the F4U Corsair in its many versions the "Whistling Death" during World War II. For VF-17 this aircraft and the pilots who flew it were responsible for shooting down 154 enemy aircraft in 76 days. By doing this they surpassed the record set by VMF-214 "Black Sheep" under the command of Maj. Greg "Pappy" Boyington. VF-17 had an unusual unit symbol painted on the noses of their Corsairs. The skull and crossbones, or Jolly Roger. This symbol was once associated with the pirates and pirate ships that once sailed the ocean looking for treasure fighting for fun. Also this was the last flag/symbol that many sailors saw before they died in battle. This was also the case of the Japanese pilots who came under the guns of "Fighting 17" during their combat tour from October 1943 to March 1944. It has been said, that VF-17 so utterly demoralized the once proud Japanese Air Force in their operating area. That upon seeing the approaching Corsairs, one Japanese pilot wrote in his diary after an encounter, "here come the wolves again". 12. Carefully done replica of a dilapidated DODGE . I sure admire it . I think I saw the Episode where he had to by one Tire on an Family Outing . Complaining that one cost more than the 4 he bought originally . IIRC .. It was the desperate ride to give back 7 ?? .. lol ..Thanx
  13. Stunning replica . Factory Stock is my Genera , you have my attention . Carousel Red is a plus .. Thanx ..
  14. The Duece was reluctant to OK the Mustang Lee proposed still stinging from the Edsel Failure .. Based on the Runaway success of the Falcon the Mustang got the nod . Thanx ..
  15. I want to share this with you . The Safety Padded Dash and Visors were not Lee's . Iaccoca's first big splash came in 1956, as an assistant sales manager in the Philadelphia district, when he came up with "56 for '56," a marketing program to combat flat Ford sales. Under "56 for '56," customers made a 20 percent down payment followed by three years of monthly payments of $56 for a 1956 Ford. All the Edsel accounts I've read since 1954 don't mention Lee Iaccoca . He was sales manager without input for New Models . As many readers are probably aware, in November 1960, Robert S. McNamara was named president of the Ford Motor Company, a role he ultimately held for less than two weeks. At around the same time, Lee Iacocca was promoted to vice president and Ford general manager. That’s all true; however, because McNamara was a past general manager of Ford Division and those promotions occurred more or less concurrently, some authors (including me, to my chagrin) have implied or even stated outright that Iacocca replaced McNamara at Ford, which is incorrect. Bob McNamara oversaw the Edsel .. Thanx ..
  16. Then you have buyers trying to Buy OOP F/S (Factory Sealed) kits for less than $3 each and get pissed off when I agree to do so stating I will remove the Shrink Wrap . He insisted he is a builder .. lol .. It is about integrity IMHO .. Thanx
  17. Bill , I so agree . No car maker , capitalization deliberately left off . Makes a two door for the sake of Customers . Few ,, so few . I need to fold myself to enter 4 drs . I have bad knees , back , neck , shoulders . Mini Vans aren't much less torturous . To make one set of stamping for sides and doors is "Cost Effective" . The non-standard group Iam in just loose . TY Sallys .. Thanx
  18. Bob , all I am able to do is Pray for your Mother , you and yours .. God Bless Thanx

  21. The Go Kart depicted in the F-100 Kit is a Record Holder . Owning the over 200 MPH at Bonneville Two way timed average . I remember the splash this addition to a mundane kit made in the day . I owned the Hot Rod Magazine featuring this Cart in the day . Is this Fusie Watch Chain on the Drives ? Wow , eyecandy ! Thanx ..
  22. I've slush cast from JoHan MoPar kits the Bags . The same for Studebaker , FoMoCO , AMC . Same size / same shape / same sourced parts . GM Bottles of Opticlean ? A Builder did replicate a viable "solution" in the '80's . I don't remember where I saw it . No , I too am unable to find how to DIY .. Thanx
