  1. Ramfins59 , you made a sows ear out of a sows ears quite well . Like the real thing only smaller . Kudos . The wags reported in the day ; this turd was the reason Mercedes bought Chrysler . They could not push this iron in Europe . The plan was America would gobble these up following the success of .. wait for it .. the YUGO .. lol . I will not drive my own coffin ! I built one in the day , the doors did not open .. You did a super job on this . You are my hero , I am an abject failure on opening doors or opening doors in a kit . Thanx ..

Modelhaus by Chris seems to offer what I need clearly marked Fx70x15 . IO don't think they will work on 1 gen Mustangs , Barracudas , Cameros . Firebirds .. ect .. ect .. ect . Any suggestions out there please ? Yes , I am retentive .. Thanx ..

  11. About the '58 Hawk .. workable . The Grille is flat and squarish . It needs to be rounded like the '56/'60 MY's . The Wheel Covers are correct . The Hood is missing the fake louvers on the Power Bulge . The Hash Marks on the Quarter Fins are missing . Wnt aray again here .. spell check too . Went Arwa wrong ! Hash this goes sideways much .. Hash Marks in Fins are missing . Fake luvore are missing on Hood Power Bulge .. Thanx ..
  12. If you have one , you can slush cast millions yourself . Use Silicon Sealant , Spray you part after securing it on a surface with cooking spray . Just not the type with olive oil . Cover the part with a blob of Silicon . I wait is cure for at least a day before carefully peeling back the Blob to make sure it is totally cured . When done and cured , peel back the mold . Mix 2 part epoxy . Next , pour in mixture into the cavity . This too , I wait a day . Peel back carefully again to check the process is finished . When cured peel off the blob (mold) and Viola ! You are a Resin Caster . Small parts are best to start with Thanx ..
  13. Yes , my wife and I watched the Video in 2009 . Yet , much of this information was not known at that time . The Story was then someone was escaping the Nazies during the War . He dumped the Car as he did not want Hitler to have it . Thank you for the Story and update . The 2009 Documentary ended when it was brought to the surface IIRC . Thanx
  14. I would be so in on this one . IIRC , Dave Dodge offered the Belvedere or Sattelite 1 Sedan .Did this as the Cornet have a quarter panel bulges in '66 not carried over into the '67 Slab Sided bodies ? Thanx ..
  15. I am shocked to see this about Mighty Mouse . I bought on Ebay from Mighty Mouse . A "Modelhaus Master" of the '58 T-Bird they did offer long ago . It is just body , Glass . chassis (from a '59/'60 with half elliptical springs , not Coils rear suspension ) . I did round up Modelhaus parts , they fit . This took from 2006 - 2017 . These parts are in my last order .. I just an lacking the dashboard . So , I did locate and buy an original AMT Interior . Way too narrow ? This may be why ? I also discovered the T-Bird was a promo only that year . Wow .. Thanx ..
  16. Thank you . The pic was not that clear for me at his page .. Thanx ..

  20. A recent post here someone was seeking a set of the '64 Polara Wheel Covers . The first set are the Standard Fare Polara . JoHan Kits had these . The second with the Fratzog Spinners was the Hifgh Dollar Option . The same was on both the '64/'65 MY's . These are in the Polar Lights '65 Cornet Kit . I think the '65 ornet are easier to find . Speaking for myself . I am seeking the whole shooting Match . inner , outers , tires and Fratzogs . I am asking for help . Message me please ? Thanx
  21. I get that .. Thanx ..

  24. It is a Monogram Kit . The Yellowing is from the color of the plastic . IIRC , Monogram create this formula to best reproduce the de-rigor '30's Whitewalls . It looks like the Whitewalls of the day . Green is my favorite Color . It's a Duesy .. I like this .. Nice and beautiful replica . With the Grille Gaps I believe this is a first run release . Thanx ..
