  1. A Glue Bomb Rescue .. TY Modelhaus for making the FBumper/Grille after 5 Years of Requests . Plus al the other Hen's Teeth they ever cast not limited to this Build . I sure miss them . Color Matched using Chip Books and Advertisements I had access to in the day . It had all the Styline Parts and attachments in the Kit on it . If it was an actual 1:1 , keep this one away from magnets . Sorry for limited pictures . My Windows 10 is playing Hide and Seek again . Enjoy .. Thanx ..
  2. My Grandparents Generation would be happy to se this one . Stunning Replica and Thanx ..
  3. Why eliminate the White Walls ? The Best wearing, Puncture Resistant Premium Tires were Whitewalls . This has : R Bumper , Dual Wipers . Heater . Optioned out and loaded up . Why would a Buyer skimp on tires at the Verge of Nationwide Rationing I ask ? A Yard Ornament won't be useful for other than Scrap during War Time . IMHO you did not live it or understand the times . This is a Perfect Replica ..Thanx
  4. Do you cast the Hood for yourself ? Will you make it available ? I am in for 2 . I am liking your progress here . Thanx
  5. Builds up to a Great addition to ant Imperial Collection . This MoPar Tribute build I spent two months on when the Model King Released the kit . Actual Factory Replica . Yes , don't say it . I admit I am retentive .
  6. Great progress IMHO . Kudos as I am watching this Thanx
  7. You do an incredible job on your Apparatus Conversions Greg . Credit due where credit is due . Thanx
  8. Very nice . The 1:1 Versions' nomenclature is "Circus Wheel" . By changing the Center Cap with the appropriate Emblem they become whatever Car Line Optional upgrade . IIRC , Pintos and Bobcats used the same Rims . Motor Wheels in Detroit was the Manufacturer of these Gems . Excellent Piece and Kudos .. Thanx
  9. There was never saw an Edsel I did not like . Thanx
  10. Here is one I found on EBAY . The MC V/8 .. Thanx
  11. Just a couple of notes about this AMC Javelin AMX . I am retentive . The Javelin AMX's from '71/'74 came with Engine Tuned Dash Treatment , WAPPED into the Driver's Door on Javelins and Javelin AMX's both . What MY did Corvette Invent this feature ? The Wood Grain pictured here is the Javelin treatment . The Wrap into the Door Dash was "invented" by junkie mtrs what year again ? AL MODERN HVAC Systems are pioneered by AMC . I can go on . ALAS so much for oddball and weird AMC Corp. IMHO .BTW .. In 1957 AMC MADE AND SOLD A 327 V/8 Engines . Chevrolet in 1962 . "Chevrolet did all this first" . Yet I was subject to this undisputable FACT while listening to claims junkie mtrs cast AMC Engines for free ?? How benevolent of them . ,Consider especially the Casting all these with Cubic Inch Displacement Embossed on the sides of these FREE Blocks . Enough of my Advertisement . What a spectacular Replica . KUDOS and a great collector ITEM . The Gold T Stripe will set this off nicely . I would like to share mine . Yours puts mine to shame Thanx NOTE The Packard came on fhe ride
  12. Quality Replica , I am sure appreciating this one . Thanx
  13. The first Boat is an AMT Original I rescued from pieces and parts I gathered at the Toledo Shows over the years . Ford V/8 .The Wooden Cutlass is an AMT '90's Re-Pop . Kris Craft Inboard w/Chris Craft Flathead Marine 6 . Hemi Hydro . Revelle SSP , '90's release .I coud not come up with the Cream Accents . I went with 'kinda Gulf OIL Scheme . Yeah , It's gotta a Hemi & color me Metal Flake Blue . Thanx
  14. This is an EBay rescue I acquired . Although it has flaws I don't let go in my Builds . I did not touch it . I DON'T have decals tp replace those on the build . I display it as it is decent . Some Parts are missing . IIRC the Front Swivel Seat for instance . I could be convinced to trade it off . Thanx
  15. MY '78 T-Bird I bought in 1983 . 45 K on the Clock . Parted with is reluctantly due to a nasty divorce in 1996 . 179+ K on the clock . Among my Top 5 Best CARS I OWNED . Regrets indeed . Would like to replicate it in scale . Thanx
  16. Beautiful Build . Texaco kept the Stations Clean as did all the Others looking sharp and Clean . Kudos .. God Bless
  17. This '62 MY Pontiac Tempest Tribute Glue Bomb Rescue is where I honed my Glass Restoration procedure . It had Glue smears and drops on both sides . The Next Glass set I used a Clearcoat . If does reject the Yellowing Process as it aged . Progressive usage of from course to find sanding papers . 400 was the start . 1200 was the last step . Thanx .
  18. From my education in the School of Hard Knocks . I did develop a skill of Pant Stripping from South Bound paint jobs through this learning curve . My Model Building Experience and Auto Body Training has shown me then way I'd like to share . Always use a Sealing Primer under my Paintwork . It is necessary with Colored Plastics and -any- Fill Work . Other wise a Fill Primer works well enough . Thanx
  19. Hmmm. The Century Coronado is a 1959 MY . A Chevrolet 327 was finally produced in 1962 . IMHO the 327 you are referring to was the AMC Marine Engine. That Engine was a new Casting that year and propelled that MY's Fastest Passenger Car . AMC Rambler was introduced for 1957 . The " Fuelie" Corvette did out pace it in the Quarter Mile ONLY . AMC did slate it to be equipped with Fuel Injection . During testing the Rebel "Fuelie" beat the "Fuelie" Corvette's time by .09 second . AMC scrapped the Fuel Injection plan due to unreliability . Think about "Fuelie Vetts" for just a moment . Thjanx
  20. This is the results of the Hot Rod Version . I did this one post AMT '56 & '57 Ford kits . 3 Union '46 - '48 Fords . I did them all since 1984 . In my Youth I was not too fussy about how bodies fit together Multiple Piece bodies that is . IIRC . I changed the Roof for a '55 HT . I rejected the Sedan for this build . The Factory Accessory skirts were a must . Yes , I know the Quarter Glass did not fully Retract . Bean Counters strike again . Another Tribute build . I have a stalled '55 HT WIP . Body on this Hot Rod Release is soo bad . It .. Thanx
  21. True enough . Tee Nee Trailers were made in Youngstown , Ohio . I am a native from there . I had friends employed there . Facts are facts . Thanx
  22. The Fix for the "Fanbelt Chukkin" was a small "Bracket" over the Idler Pully to slap the Belt back into place . Hmmm .. 1963 MY .. 635 Potential Oil Leak locations . Most endearing was "It's Raining OIL !" . The FAA would not certify these on Aircraft since WW I was over during 1918 . Smelly heat is an inherent side effect of the (Cheap) Heating Methods used . Frontal Crashes with Gasoline (consistently flaming) filling the Passenger Compartments . The "Turtle Tendency" and more . The product made it's own Reputation . Thanx
  23. NO Blame lies at the Feet of Ralph Nader at all . Read the Book . If anyone is to blame is Ed Cole and the Bean Counters . The latter more so . Insolent Chariots is another Recommended Read . "The Rear suspension design was banned from every Race Car Organization and Sanctioning Body World Wide in 1953" . I am quoting from Ralph's Book . Make it cheap as possible ! Thanx
  24. Wow , this represents much Craftmanship and Talent . Is this an original ITC Kit ? This is a fine addition to any collection . A Respectable Factory Stock Replica . i appreciate this one . Thanx
