  1. I use the Freezer Method successfully for over 19 Years now . Place the stubborn part you want to make into pieces again . Tightly sealed enclosed in a baggie Place in the Freezer . Your Wife will complain . Reminding you to keep at it . Use only a steady firm pressure . Too much Ham Handing or BASHING will fracture Brittle Frozen Plastic . Your goal is to separate the Bonded joint . Not to make a Puzzle . BTW , I might have a Pristine '70 Tornodo I would be willing to trade off . It has taken me years to work this procedure on some projects . I am patient . My wife is a plus as a reminder for me to keep at it Once upon a time I tried this method on the remains of the MPC '32 Chevy Panel . Submerged in a Pool of Turpentine for 2 years . Other project this worked on ?? I remembered one day . Ahh .. oops . The Parts did not separate as carefully planned . It looks like an abandoned partial Body that had weight sitting on it for yeas , As the Structural Wood BODY Frame rotted away . The Sheet Metal Misshaped and warped itself accordingly from the pressure . A Great diorama PIECE . as of now l am unable to retrieve the R Fenders and floor board .. Thanx ..
  2. All excellent Bulids Greg .. Thanx

Thanx
  4. I am an Edsel Fan from day 1 . Even prior to E day that is . You did a top notch and Beautiful Factory Stock Replica . I see the pickle BTW .. lol .. Thanx
  5. Bill . IMHO you replicated the Stock Steering Wheel 100% . I am familiar with those T Birds . On Evil Bait : Up for sale is this original steering wheel and horn button off of a 1955 Ford Thunderbird, this wheel is in decent original condition but it does have some cracking and crazing as shown in the pictures. This wheel could be cleaned up and used as is. It is also a great candidate for restoration. The horn button is pretty well pitted as shown, and the lower ring is broken off like most of these 55s. Please view all pictures, I can send additional pictures if needed. This wheel is being sold as is. Thanks for looking!!! Your build is typically beautiful and corret Factory Stock . I am admittedly Retentive and Proud of it . Thanx
  6. You must remember the Kits and Promos in the day are close , no Cigar . The Manufactures send (advanced) final approved prints and specs to the Model Car Companies . NOT actual Production Line Finished Products . Lag Time really does exists . The Open Market Place foe both Kits and Promos should coincide with 1:1 availability . Kudos and Thanx
  7. In HS a friend had a '65 Nova . WE graduated in the late '60's . He was an older upper class School Friend . It came with a 6 . He swapped out for the SBC . Got into Traffic Troubles . Dadd-yo made him swap back in the 6 ... lol ..OR ELSE ! Bad Driver Awards continued .. He was on his Dad's insurance $$$ . So , his Daddy-o threatened to swap in HIMSELF the 4 popper (available from '62 MY until the '69 MY) at the next ticket ! I did not see him since 1969 . It is disappointment to see the '64 Nova SS was scrubbed . Slated to have the SBC 2 bbl as the Factory installed . I am a string Builder . MY 2 cents .. Thanks for
  8. I did get one 318 Ploy . Then Got another . Yup .. excellent replicas .. Thanx
  9. My shelf MY '56 Bel Air . Thanx

  11. Part of my Professional Driver Career was a Car Hauler . I admire this build . The amount of effort you exerted to make this is astounding . You've done research for sure . Copious amounts to say the least . Out of GM Lordstown , Ohio . The Clearance was 3'" between the UNITS .. NO BOUNCING ALLOWED PERIOD . "Framed out , even the Uni-bodies . I am impressed . Betcha' this is over 13'6" lol .. It this stopped on a 5 Ton Load Limit Bridge ? .. lol .. Thanx
  12. Beautiful build . Nailed it to a Tee ! The doors actually fit ? Wowser indeed . This is then a '63 and up MY then ? Yes , me asking this .. Thanx
  13. TY , I am pleased to see your fortitude to fruition on this project . I have 3 Frozen WIPS of these waiting for my attention . Builder's lock up . Most excellent Replica . Yes , the Skyliner Chassis , modified floor are common with the Wagon and Ranchero . The Gas Tank Relocation was required on all 3 Models . VS the Passenger Cars . Kudos .. Thanx
  14. His product line is workable . You must put in the work . Very Unique , I'm watching this Build . KUDOS ! Most excellent work . Thanx
  15. The '59 Ford Line was awarded the Top Worldwide Design Excellence for that MY . France had the Honor to do this . Recall if you will . France Invented the Automobile . I am glad AMT modeled this HT in the later in the MY Galaxie Line ? You made stunning replica . I don't remember if this was re-released in Craftsman Series or not . If so , it was a French Blue Plastic . Fitting Choice . Looks like an ORIGINAL . White Styrene Thanx
  16. Quality Replica . Subtle and refined is the look you captured here . The Vendor selling these ornaments does Excellent work . I would give him a plug here and now . Alas , I cannot recall "who dunnit" . Thanx
  17. Outstanding . The Glass will have Officer Friendly smiling ..lol .. God Bless
  18. Stunning Build . Michelle . I admire this . The "Recall Wheels" are perfect . My genera is Factory Stock . Eye Candy and a Wowser ..Where did you get a '68 Kit ? Real nice . Thanx
  19. TY for sharing this Historic Model . Both Kit and 1:1 . I made a Replica circa 1985 using a Calendar Art (restoration pics) to source the Build Details . No Internet , No Auto Color , Library (still doesn't list Huppmobiles) . Where did you locate this info ? I am looking for Porter info . "My Mother he Car" was a George Barris Creation . Poo .. Poo .. sbc / powerglide . The AMT Kit missed this . I know what some of then looked like . I desire to build a Stock Brass Era Porter and a Replica "My Mother The Car'" . An actual Replica that is . As close as Model work can get Thanx .. I have pics . My Windows 10 hides them . I cannot cough up the Bribe Money to Photobucket .. IF I find them ?????
  20. Michelle , your builds continue to get better . Well done semi Custom . Thanx
  21. Good Looking Galaxie . This release did not have the Galaxie spelled out on the Trunk Lid . I am unaware if later issues had this detail restored . As this was first released an Aftermarket Vendor sold the Lettering . I did buy a set . The Pioneer days of Aftermarket in the Car Model segment then . Well , they are 'dry transfer" . Time has 'semi customized" the Model . Some of he Letters ran away . What did you do to fix the Interior Chrome ISSUE . RSVP . Great model work and Thanx
  22. Don't use Turpentine Method fir stubborn parts -Don't- Tye best I've found is the Freezer method and patience Carl . I know you have patience . I spent 4 Years dissembling a glue bomb recently . Thanx
  23. An Emrald and Gemstone for sure . You achieved your objective with this build . Green is my favorite color . Thanx
  24. I own less remains of one of these than you do . My Rear Bumper/Tailights is a one piece Metal Casting . The front was the same IIRC . Is your Rear Bumper/Taillights plastic as the front . These are PMC Kits . I remember these kits in coral at Amer's Hobbies . Youngstwn , Ohio , North Side Store on Belmont . I believe the Scale was 1/24 th . I am attempting to scratch the front Bumper/Grille/ Headlights for 3 decades now .. lol .. Thanx ..
