  1. Well...from my point of view, you have 3 options. 1. If it doesn't polish out, try coating it with Future, but the stain might remain. 2. Tint the entire windscreen yellow or smoke to match or cover the stain. 3. Drop the dime for the new glass and be done with it. Good Luck!
  2. Zsa Zsa Gabor....then if the cop touched her car, she would have a reason to slap him, but he would have to catch her first! ....as for the toilet, that is just soooooo wrong!
  3. I will make the assumption that you are rinsing the part well with soap and water after using the soft scrub. If so then YES it should!
  4. ....and it may take up to a week depending on how old the paint is.....I switched to Purple Power, ya gotta wear rubber gloves but MUCH faster and cleaner. 2 days tops......and it don't leave that Simple Green smell on your model (which stays even after you wash it with soap and water!)
  5. yep! Seems to be really flying now....a joy to surf!
  6. Thanks....I ran into that with some Krylon and figured that was the problem! Mississippi gets pretty humid!
  7. Very impressive work on that trailer! Just needs lawn chairs, a hibachi, and a cooler of Schlitz!
  8. I'm digging both of em Scott! Love that copper paint...post more of your builds! I was gonna try some Createx colors on a model some day and coat em with Future....that stuff works great. Used to airbrush t-shirts for a while and the Createx was easy to use and thin. Now if it works on plastic as well as textiles is another question I have to explore!
  9. .....and so ends "Bitchfest 2009" I, speaking for myself, accept your apology, welcome to the forum Scott!
  10. WoW! Very Nice build!!
  11. Is blushing when a gloss lacquer dries with a satin finish? what exactly is blushing?
  12. off the bay...delivered yesterday....Polar Lights Ghost Charger sealed. dunno whether to open it, or bury it in the backyard in a steel box to sell at a later date..... going today 50 miles to a HobyLoby for paint and incidentals......film at 11.
  13. Quite inventive, looks cool!
  14. (in my best Homer Simpson voice) OOOOOOoooooo......P R E T T Y !
  15. Really Nice!! What brand of candy paint did you use...It looks beautiful!!
  16. Sweet little 4x4 there! I am especially digging the window tinting, it really adds to the build and draws your eyes in to see the details! ....how did you do the window tinting??
  17. Dude! Nice Builds!! I especially am digging the Ferarri.... Ya do some great work!!
  18. WOW! I haven't seen that one in years. That's another car I would love to have a kit of!!
  19. Thanks again for the compliments on the build! As far as the bubble tops go, I always thought it was about the look, not the practicality of the vehicle. I always thought bubble tops looked really "Far Out" in a cool way. Remember, they are show cars, not production vehicles. Too much glass in the south can bake anything! That's why the Ford Probe and the AMC Pacer went bye bye so fast and the advent of window tinting became so popular. And...couldja imagine a bubble top in a hail storm?!??! Ohhh....the horror!! The Orbitron was kinda fugly, Roth himself was never really happy with the way it turned out. Said he shoulda let the engine be seen instead of putting it under a bonnet. If you do a search, you can find the whole story behind the rediscovery of the car. The car was found in front of an adult book store in Mexico, and as you said it is being restored. Why is a good question!!
  20. Yeah, I did a search and found that if you can get your hands on one they are $65 a pop! OUCH!
  21. That is so very cool! Really fertile imagination and craftsmanship! I can imagine the judges looking at the front, then the back and saying "WTF?" LOL!!
  22. Y'all did a great job on that there truck! I love how the woodwork turned out! It looks like something from my neck of the woods.
  23. Looks sharp! Nice Detailing!
  24. Looks Sweet to me!! Great Job!
