  1. Thanks! I dunno which bubble top I will do next!?
  2. You do some really nice work!
  3. Looks like a real nice build, color looks great to me!
  4. Interesting! If the pics were a bit more focused..... I keep thinking my eyes are going REEEL bad!
  5. Awesome build! Love the purple decals!!! Excellent details too! You can find the BBII on the bay sometimes. I just finished mine and it is a pretty smooth build all the way through. Not like the others that you have to build the frame!
  6. When I built this one I decided that I wanted a color other than the yellow on the box....so I went with Krylon Ocean Blue Breeze . Then after getting the decals on I decided that the "Stylized" Rat Fink decal for the side looked wrong with the paint, so I made my own decal incorporating a stylized "Fly" that Roth always signed his name with. A fitting tribute in my own estimation. The one thing about this kit that bugged me was that the canopy is not hinged. I was too lazy to scratch build a hinge, so the top is being held up with a sewing needle. Oh well......
  7. I believe that you have done an astounding build! It's creative, innovative, artistic, and downright Bitchin!! It is everything that Ed himself would put into his own car. Mr. Roth would be proud!
  8. ahhhh....more BUBBLETOPS! I just got another Monogram "Predicta" from Lyn this morning! (uhh...thankewverymudge!) ...and I got a Monogram "Orange Hauler" from the bay on it's way!
  9. Sweeeeeeeeet!!
  10. One of the manufacturers should make a kit of that one! I think it's a hoot! ...and it looks like it could be strangely functional!
  11. What famous general comes to mind when you throw a hand grenade into your kitchen? Linoleum Blownapart. Did you hear that they have a support group now for compulsive talkers? It's called Anon anon anon anon anon!
  12. Impressive Build!!
  13. Great!! Thanks Lyn...Please let me know when you get ready to list them!!
  14. Hey Lyn! BUBBLE-TOPS! ....keep me in the loop?
  15. SMOKIN!!!
  16. Yes thanks again y'all, glad ya like it! Raul will be pleased when I post the Beatnik Bandit II in the next few days as well......I always liked the custom rods....reminds me of when I went to the World of Wheels custom auto shows as a kid in Milwaukee. I was in heaven at those shows! Mr. Gustafson has a site dedicated to the Predicta......... http://www.thepredictaproject.org/ the engine in the kit is not the same configuration as on the site, but it still looks cool!
  17. A cool looking classy build! I am really digging the grape paint too!
  18. I can imagine granny driving the first one while she is wearing biker leathers and a skull cap!
  19. I am impressed! Your son did an incredible job on that build!! Excellent paint job too! The Testors candys are a pain to spray, but it looks great!
  20. Wow, Thanks! My favorite part of the build? The blue detailer in the middle of the knock-offs!
  21. Here is my final attempt at a candy paint job! It came out much darker than the photos let on. However, I am satisfied with it at any rate! The Testors cans are just waaay too much of a major inconvenience and the paint nozzles suck. That said, it was so much fun to build this kit that I got another one on the way!
  22. OMG! NICE POS! You should do a wheelstander graveyard!!!
  23. Very Nice!!
  24. Nice build! You matched the color pretty well! But I never was a fan of...beige..... For your next build you might want to try this stuff to black out the grill work.....it works almost effortlessly! Ya just brush it on lightly and it sinks into the crevices and leaves the chrome ribbing! And it's pretty inexpensive! $2.99 a bottle and $1.50 shipping! Works like a dream! http://www.thedetailer.net
