  1. Another Ford master piece - both the model and the original design
  2. This definitely a really neat modelling project. I did once saw a Factory 5 Cobra in its shipping crate and thought it was very interesting to see.
  3. Overall I really like this Ala-Roadster including how well all the body components fit together and the color and engine . I think it would even look better if lowered and with smaller wheels especially in front.
  4. This is radically awesome like the best transformer I have ever seen!!
  5. Very well done. Looks fantastic in blue. What a great kit. It will be a huge shame if it does not back.
  6. Looks fantastic. I have always loved that shade of blue.
  7. Thanks Bernard - I will likely do more bare steel models. After hot rod history they are my favorite features in The Rodder's Journal
  8. Thanks guys. I appreciate it.
  9. THANKS TOM. GOOD MEMORY. YES IT IS THE SIMARD/O'NEAL CAR WHICH WAS A TIMELESS DESIGN PERFECTLY EXECUTED.
  10. I needed an easy build project from my list of previously started models. This curbside/slammer/out-of-the-box build was inspired by the first bare-steel deuce coupe in issue #1 of The Rodder’s Journal almost 24 years ago. In completed gloss black with polished wheels it was also TRJ’s first poster car after being featured in issue #8. I have already started work on a fully detailed model of the completed car. PAINT – Of course I naturally figured the perfect paint would be Testor’s Metallizer Steel, which is non-buffing. Although I like the way the completed model looks I may have more closely replicated how the bare steel of the real car appeared in the TRJ photos by using one of the other Metallizers like Aluminium Plate - Buffing.
  11. I am in the hunt for a Phaeton and yours makes me want one even more!!
  12. I love box art builds and you did an exceptional job. This has always been a really great kit.
  13. A fine and appropriate addition to any GT40 collection
  14. Not sure if this is an appropriate term but this is one classy rat-rod. I really like the roof affect. Almost looks like leather stitching.

I love that look which you captured so well.
  16. Agree completely. Great set of photos. Altogether a superior build.
  17. Nice box art build. I recently bought the re-release of this kit and was disappointed it does not include the front spoke wheels that are shown on the box. It comes with 4 chrome Halibrand, 4 chrome Centerline and also stock wheels.
  18. Very attractive Deuce. I really like the look of the roof and wonder how you crafted it?
  19. Very exotic. Reminiscent of current Ferrari styling trends.
  20. Cool. Very creative use of 40 Ford hood!!
  21. Thanks for the photos. It took me a bit to find them as I had been looking on the contest thread. Congratulations on your TROG win. Well deserved. I found more photos posted on fotki. I am very impressed with the amazing lowrider paint jobs. Definitely was an awesome event.
  22. All beautiful. Amazing engine detail.
