Thanks Tim. Fantastic group of Model A builds in so many different styles. I hope those who do not have Model A Coupe kits in their stash will have the opportunity to buy new kits in the near future and if not have after market options to fill their desires.
Very cool. I like the Meteor grill. An older guy in high school had a green one very much like this but hardly ever went to class so did not see very often.
Looks just like the one my high school gym teacher had. There were actually two Morgans in the HS parking lot. My English teacher had a black four seater and named one of his kids Morgan. Going to have to build the kit someday that has been in my stash since it first came out.
Nice to see an old CHAMP car. These were pretty nice kits back in the day and offered many different liveries with both road course and speedway configurations. Some even came with rain tires. I really like the current Indy Cars and look forward to seeing and hearing them in reality at the Portland race Labor Day weekend.
Both turned out very well. Judging by where you live I imagine you have seen real WRC cars in action. I would love to see the special stage through the tunnels.
Good luck with replicating the mirror. It is definitely hard to find one on another kit that looks right. One of the nicest I have seen is on the Italeri and Tamiya Mercedes 300SL kits but you might not want to rob them from those kits but you could possibly take a resin cast.
Here is my take on a Little Deuce Coupe build inspired by the song with a very potent flathead engine, four speed and lakes pipes. I bet something like stripped down and lightened could have run 140mph or at least kph at Bonneville.
