  1. Wow! That looks great and that level of orange peel is acceptable by my standards.

    Shelby 350R

Good job on one of my favorite kits.
  3. Beautiful model and paint.
  4. Very solid build for a first effort. Looks like you got the fundamentals right and I like the Agent tail light panel.
  5. Yahooooo! I got everything painted today. Here are some sunshine pics of the body: Very bright red is just what I was going for. Don't know if this is a match for a factory color or not. Now some pics in the shade to show the variations in different lighting:
  6. Coming along very nicely.
  7. These days Hot Rod mag seems to be glorifying junk. Some of the cars aren't even safe to drive. Do yourself a favor and read Hot rod Deluxe instead. It is pure rodding history.
  8. Looks nice. I thought we would see a rash of these on this site like the Cuda builds.
  9. They are the same tires but they came from the 66 Mustang kit. The wheels came from the new issue 65 Ford Galaxy kit. They are some of the best 1/25 Cragar SS wheels I have ever seen and are different from the ones in the 66 Galaxy kit.
  10. Thought I had already commented on this one but guess not. Looks great so far and it's nice to see another variation on this kit.
  11. That is one swoopy car.
  12. That's a great engine and I would love to have some of the stands.
  13. Now that is just groovy! I love it.
  14. This is killer!
  15. Another Cuda joins the fray. I'll be watching this one too. Be nice to see one with a 383. By the way Mike, Revell's 69 Dart kit has a 383 with a 727 torqueflite. There's a pic of one I built up in my 70 Cuda build thread alongside the Hemi. The axle that you want is also in the Dart kit although the width may not be the same.
  16. Here's the latest update. Finished the engine and got the suspension and wheels ready as well as most of the interior. The weather here just will not let me get the body painted though. Here is the stance mockup. I used the stock rear springs and the lowered front K member. Hope to have another update tomorrow.
  17. I feel your pain brother. Same weather where I live and on top of that I banged up my car on the icy road this morning. Took out a front fender and mirror on the passenger side. Haven't been able to check for damage underneath just yet but she drives and sounds OK.
  18. I like this one a lot!
  19. Well, since my last update I have wired the engine and done a little painting on the interior. I got some more Tamiya bright red from Hobbylinc the other day so should make some progress tomorrow.
  20. Thanks for the info Jim. I never knew that Mustangs were raced in TA after 1970.
  21. Oh yeah! Another nice one Randy.
  22. I'm with you on this LOL. Maybe that's why we are "lone wolves"
  23. It depends on which boxing you get . The one labeled as a 71 is based on an old MPC tooling and has a stock interior. The one labeled 73 is based on the AMT tooling and can only be built as a Trans Am road racer that never existed in real life, although it does come with a few extra custom parts. My biggest gripe is that all of them only come with the big ugly 73 front bumper. Hope this helps.
  24. Nice! I always like to see a Mopar.
