  1. Interesting subject, but does that kit have some weird engineering or what?
  2. I like this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Novus-7020-Plastic-Polish-1-8-Ounces/25355017?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=7020&adid=22222222227017891601&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=51806386151&wl4=pla-83209484231&wl5=9031354&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=115793948&wl11=online&wl12=25355017&wl13=&veh=sem
  3. Try the Tamiya Acrylic clear gloss with their proprietary thinner. It is an acrylic lacquer and can be sanded/polished for a higher gloss.
  4. Nice paintwork.
  5. Great looking model! I'm working my way through one of those kits too.
  6. Yes, the paint looks great. I'm curious to see how the sign painters paint works out.
  7. Very nice!
  8. I heard a news announcer say (when reporting Berry's passing) that the building housing the Rock and Roll Hall of fame would house an IKEA or McDonalds today had it not been for Chuck Berry. I couldn't have said it better.
  9. Wow! That is taking it to the next level.
  10. If the kit came from a swap meet, how do you know it was packaged that way by Revell?
  11. Thanks, much appreciated. Maybe we can do it again sometime.
  12. Thanks, and the same back at you.
  13. Great job on the interior! Excellent widgeting too.
  14. I thoroughly enjoyed the TV coverage for both the event and the views of the scenery. I need to put a visit to that part of the world on my bucket list.
  15. Barry, Thanks. I have the book you mentioned. I'll have to track down the 6 bolt rims and the cage.
  16. Thanks, I'll look for that one.
  17. Outstanding! Great subject too.
  18. Thanks. Are the Z11 parts in all of the boxings?
  19. will provide the best basis for building a model of this car? Do any of the boxings include any Nascar specific parts?
  20. I'll be a customer.
  21. As long as the bleach doesn't damage the paint, I'd say you have a winner.
  22. Okay, I'll bite, Which paints do you think are superior and why?
  23. I have bleached out the yellowing by placing the decal sheet in a ziplock baggie and taping it decal side out to the inside of a south facing window for a few weeks (the baggie is just to keep any condensation that may form on the inside of the window from damaging the decals), Since you already have applied the decals to the model, you could try putting the entire model in a location where it will get direct sunlight to see if that will bleach out the yellowing. I've heard from other people who tried this trick that, in some cases, the yellowing eventually returned. Good luck.
  24. I love it! There will never be enough models of old (or new) dirt cars.
