The 39 Chevy was an update on the 37/38 Chevy, which AMT made, but would require more work and is 1/25.

I attend 4 or more shows a year, we are lucky to have 3 each year right in Indianapolis and 1 just south in Columbus. I also try to get to Cincinnati each spring. I go for the swap meet and for inspiration at the contest table, and to see old friends. I havent entered a contest in years and rarely stay untill awards are givin.

I had a Gold Wing rider tell me that Harleys got to be much better bikes after Honda bought them and straightened 'em out.

Those center caps were never used on any Corvette, or any other Chevy with those wheels. That S-10 owner has used something else that fit those wheels. You might try the bare Rally wheels with exposed lug nuts from the AMT 72 Corvette kit and add your own center caps.

I take my Meyers Manx to quite a few shows every year, and I always have to hear about "The one my dad built, only it had a "Porch" motor in it", and of course every other dune buggy there is a "Gen-u-wine real Myers Man-x". The best one was the guy parked beside me with a 351 2bbl Mach 1, who bad mouthed my "under powered junk furr'in" car all day. I left at the same time he did and had the front wheels off the ground when I blew around him. I let the turbo blow off beside his window!

He did a nice job on the styled IH Farmall tractors too.

And the Mexican government won't do anything about it.

I'm needing a 1/25 scale T 2/3 for a build, any recomendations on a kit that has one or two? Resin would be fine too, but all of those I've found are LARGE. I'm not asking for the parts, just a direction to start looking. Thanks in advance.

The name "Volkswagen" is used severial times in the Meyers Manx instructions so some kind of agreement was found.

There hasn't been much that i've been interested in or didn't allready have in my stash. I'm OK with that, let others have their turn.

With a couple of crossover hits (Smoking Gun and Right Next Door) back in the 80's I thought his career was off to a great start. I guess grunge killed his take on blues off along with hair metal.

The AMT 55 Sedan was issued as a pro street version back in the early 90's, and you may still find one. By the way, your grandpa's 55 is a 210, not a Belair.

Injection molded plastic requires expensive tooling and machines to mold, resin can be done by a hobbyist on a much smaller basis. Resin models are a way for reproducing old oop kits or handmade subjects in small numbers. Many cars that were never modeled by the "little three" can be bought in resin giving us a larger variety.

A Yugo was a Fiat 128 built under license, so..... Dymaxian? Stout Scarab? White steamer?.....

All of them that I know of have a differential. Having said that I will tell you that they can steer hard because you can't lean like a two wheeler.

I started driving in 1970, and every car I owned was "jacked up" until I bought my first 'Vette. The 69 Camaro I'm restoring will sit high when it's done, all of these lowered muscle cars look WRONG to me. The sidepipes were never popular here, we called them Tennessee kickstands. We were going for the Pro Stock look, and I still love the look
