sorry about the cat john, it's hard. thanks everyone, not to be too off the wall, but I found myself kind of yelling at her as I pulled her out of my car. "now what did you go and do that for? who's gonna keep the mice out of the garage ?" of course the ground is way too hard to bury her right now. my dog keeps going out in the garage looking under the car where she used to run and smack him when he would chase her. anyways... life moves on and there is talk about getting an another indoor car (we had one before Wilson) so we will see where that leads. bunches of great looking pets out there living in great homes, we were out yesterday in the 15* weather and Wilson was having a blast in the snow, after and hour or so, we saw him lifting his paws up out of the snow, so when we tried to get him in, he would run around the house and dive into the snow banks biting the snow. he stayed out there probably another hour, just didn't want to go in, finally, when he did, he poop out for the night up on the bed.

our schools closed this morning, that is our final day we can use. tomorrow it's going to be twice as bad... I cant say anything that has not already been said, but "SOFT" ain't the word for it. this is what really gets my goat. the call came to cancel school at 5:45 AM this morning, at 6:00 AM, my 12 year old got a text that one of his friends will be going sled riding today, and his mom will be taking them..... she is the FIRST one to complain that the schools should be closed and this weather isn't fit for a child to wait for a bus and go to school....... really? then she will complain that the kids have no summer break because they have to make up days.

HAHA James, you got the sickness now buddy. focus-symocus...... you can blame it on the mass amount of information available to us with the internet. me, I blame it on the wanted section, just got stuff I wanted for a few projects and they are going to hit the table with styrene a-flying!! my wife always tells me that I should be able to do more than 1 thing at a time.

thanks for all your help fellas. as far as reference stuff goes, i have more magazines than i will ever look thru and parooze the net daily, my problem is that i am 1)partially color blind and cant tell half the colors and 2)looking for any tricks you guys have up your sleeves (simular to the carb painting). i amy mix up a color that i see as perfect, till i get it to a model meeting where they have no problem letting me know it's the wrong color. it can get down right ugly.... thanks again for all your help guys, nice riv you got there Jeff.

nice to see such a response to this, these animals are an extension of our family, they usually don't care if you come home in a good mood or not, they are there to greet you and make you happy, that is their goal.... and to tear things that are not theirs completely apart !! as the starter of this thread I listed my dog "Wilson", well, what I left out was that we also have a fish tank and an outdoor cat. well, it has not been a good week. on Wednesday, one of the smaller goldfish got caught in the siphon filter and died, on Thursday, the other small goldfish we had did the same thing. we have had this tank and the 4 (now 2) fish for over 6 months and nothing like this has ever happened, let alone 2 days in a row. so this morning, my wife calls me and said that our outdoor cat, "Whitey" who stays in a heated garage in my road runner passed sometime over the last 24 hours. we would try to bring her in on cold days but she enjoyed being outside. the last time I saw her is I let her in, she walked in, rubbed my leg and walked right back out, stood at the base of the steps and meowed at me, which she never does. she must have known something was wrong and she was saying her goodbyes. don't really know, but that is the way I perceive it to be. sad to say, work today is a little more harder and there is something missing inside. hope I didn't put a damper on anyone's day, life goes on. God bless all our pets who have passed on.

ok folks, I posted this up on another forum (a mopar forum, see the link at the bottom if anyone is interested) time to teach ol tubbsy a thing or 2...... on your muscle car chassis and engine components, what color do you paint them? such as.... differentials leaf springs rear shocks drive shafts gas tanks 4 speeds front shocks stock Holley carbs wrinkle valve covers washer motor batteries (also cap color, I have seen yellow and red) this question was directed mainly for mopars, but if you answer, you can state just what brand you are basing your colors off of. I am looking for the modeling colors you use to represent these as if the car rolled off the assembly line. I have plenty of reference stuff and it varies. also, when I jot down on little pieces of paper what color something is when reading about your builds, I loose the paper. maybe you have some tricks you may want to share. you can add to this list and maybe this can start some sort of data base of 1/25 chassis paint codes. I know some of the articles I have read say that some of the suspension has a gold tint to it, has anyone tried to achieve this? thanks in advance. I like that idea also. get the juke box ford (newly released) and you can use the engine also. -

sorry for the slow reply. sure, you can back half that chassis. that's the way I would go. I am not a big fan of that chassis cause it uses leafs instead of 4 link (hmmm, I wonder why my 1:1 pro streeter has leafs then...) anyways, that is the way I would go, just find a good spot to cut it and make sure it's square. -

Ramchargers Cuda Interior Colour
tubbs replied to Big Daddy's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I have never dealt with such a popular car and have such a hard time coming up with pictures. I know I have articles on this car, but to look thru all my magazines would take years. I think you will be happy with it however you choose to do it. sorry I did not see this sooner. -
Ramchargers Cuda Question
tubbs replied to Big Daddy's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
as much as this car has been publicized, you think there would be better pictures, but, I have been around mopars all my life, have seen this car plenty of times and you know what, couldn't tell you if there was a back seat or not... great memory right? anyways, basing off of this picture... I would say that there is no back seat. you have the roll bar bracing to contend with (yes, it could be going between the back and the lower seats) but I think being white interior, you would still see some sort of white seat in this picture. so, that is my opinion. don't know if I helped or not. -
no worry's, you just keep all your builds in the "PROJECT" phase. hehe, that looks good. nice job.

we have cold temps here in NE Ohio. gonna be this way for a week or so. this is the coldest I can remember. not too much snow. when it's this cold, I just want to lay in the couch in front of the fire and watch brainless tv shows till I fall asleep.

which kit in your guys opinion has the best modern hemi and the nicest laid out interior? the magnum, the charger and the challenger? maybe even the 300 and can you list the model manufacturer also please.

at the top of the page in the main ribbon, all the way to the right you will find a button that says "view new content" that button should do the trick for you.

stone sour has been around a while, really polar opposite of Slipknot, kind of like having the best of both worlds. don't listen too much of either, love metal, just not a screamer/grunter type of guy. I know talent when I hear it and he certainly had me fooled when he came out with stone sour. sings a little in some slipknot songs. and it's always nice to see talented women fronting a metal band.... so................. how was it, or are you still recuperating?
