  1. My wife has a 3.5 SL too. It’s a great cruising car, really - I test drove the Maxima and Q37 before deciding on the larger, quieter, and more fuel efficient Altima. The AWD would have been nice on the Infiniti, but not the premium fuel and low mpg. I actually like the smooth feel of the CVT, which gets some complaints from others.
  2. Kind of...It’s like inbetween a full engine and an insert. Has a plate with molded in detail but also a separate lower part with half a transmission...kind of weird
  3. Yeah, Italeri did the original release. Revell and Testors also released the kit. It has half an engine and off road tires.

    30 A-Bone

That does look very cool. Great model. Did you attach the top and then finish and paint? Very clean work there. I messed up on mine and had to repaint which left a noticeable gap. Also, how did you do the roof panel? So simple and clean. Nice work
  5. After people buy the kits with them... I looked at the 66 Fairlane today, which has the same (I think) tires, but didn’t want to spend $23 just for the tires...
  6. Probably easiest with the old Testors 760 turbo kit.
  7. Those are fantastic cars. My dad had an ‘06. Way faster than my Miata...of corse it cost 4 times as much...
  8. Best or favorite? Best, probably 2010 Honda CR-V. Boring though. Favorite, 1999 Miata. Longest owned is a 2000 Subaru Legacy Wagon (bought used in 2004) - but I’ve put two sets of head gaskets on it - other than that..it’s unbeatable in the snow. Nothing really fancy or noteworthy, really.
  9. Would love to see a TR4, 6 would be cool, Fiat...some might think it’s Dodge Dart anyhow...
  10. Is is just me, or do old photos look way better than new? Again, cool photos and thanks for posting. I would look at more...
  11. I like the off white actually. Looks cool with the blacked out chrome parts. Are those ladies in a storage unit in the background?
  12. Outstanding work. Love the color. I really like your treatment on the wheels - fantastic job - I checked em out closer on the WIP.
  13. Ok, that’s pretty cool. Really cool. Great work on the little details. Awesome model.
  14. Look HERE
  15. Yeah, that’s awesome. Fantastic work.
  16. Great looking model. Awesome work.
  17. MPC 1979 Pinto Wagon (also 1978, but 79 was just re-released) AMT Pacer wagon Lots of Japanese wagons but none that I can think of older than 1980...
  18. AMT 1963 Nova wagon Jo-Han 1961 Olds wagon Jo-Han 1960 Plymouth Wagon AMT 1961 Buick wagon Hubley 1962 Ford wagon uh... AMT 1960 Chevy wagon Jo-Han Cadillac Hearse/ambulance Jo-Han 1959 Rambler wagon
  19. Yeah - I didn’t watch the whole video - did he say where in Oregon? West parts see a lot of metal rotting moisture... The whole “I’m gonna get to it someday” thing is weird - especially at this scale. I guess I have the same problem in plastic - at least mine won’t rot and, if offered, I’d probably sell anything.
  20. Bummer is, would it classify as a “new” car? Would it meet bumper and air bag rules for US import? So, see, I just made life easy...not fun or enjoyable in any way, but... Really is a beautiful design - art and function in one. I’d love to see one in person for scale - looks big until you see somebody in the cockpit.
  21. What’s your budget? Low cost is relative.
  22. Great timing Randy. I just looked for some of the bolts from the last place I ordered them and they were OOS. So, now I am getting them from you, man! Thanks!
  23. Really cool. Great color choice!
