Yesterday our heater quit...called service person set up a 3.30PM appointment...no call no show so I called them again at 5PM...they say they had no clue about it but could come by at 6.30PM emergency call....finally at 7PM they show up look at it and say they have to come back tomorrow with the right parts to fix it...2 nights without any heat...great....still waiting to hear from them today???

Glad to hear it Rob....great gesture on someones part to help out. I have had a few here donate kits to my disabled builders group I help out locally....many times without them I could not keep it going for the guys...being disabled myself Id really like to keep it going for them they look forward to it too much but there is only so much I can do on my own with a very small income....I thank people like that there a breed above.

I usually find them like that and have to TRY to bring them back to factory stock again being a factory stock builder...still pretty cool.

Thanks for the comment Mark...it was my first attempt at such a build...kind of enjoyed it too but need to learn more on weathering...everything on or in it came from the box truck was warped.

Ok todays one for me was I had to have a battery cable made for our truck 2 gauge 5 foot long....what the guy made was a 2.0 gauge which cost twice the price...cant be returned he said ether...crook.

Welcome Jason...just ask there are many very talented builders here that have been building for their whole lives.

I was an old school mechanic but trained to work on the computer cars too....our 84 Chevy pickup has a computer in it just not hooked up anymore....now its more fuel efficient and runs better much more reliable.

Hi Robert.... these... 68/69 Plymouth 4door wagon made from a 68 GTX HT kit 64 Chevy junkyard pickup...more you look at it the more scratch built stuff you can see 54 Chevy 4door wagon project just thought you all would like to see them...Thanks!

We own a 4x4 pickup old mid 80s and it would have trouble doing that....very cool.

NICE bird...I use to own a 75 TA would love to build a replica of it someday I loved that car.

Love it...!!! I think I once had every early to mid 77 Dodge van kit when they were out....would love to be able to revisit my childhood again someday...maybe someone will retool these way too cool things someday???
