    For me my mid life crisis seems to be when I got in my very bad car accident.(wish was not my fault they had no insurance)...everything changed for me and had to make many other changes due to it. Being disabled with many issues like 24/7 pain..etc.....loosing our house...and my business...the depression...no money....huge medical bills....having to sell off my 1 to 1 toys I loved...not being able to work anymore...etc. I immersed myself in my life long love of building and restoring models and promos of the 60s and 70s body styles...there my escape from everything now. If it were not for being able to keep busy building..etc. id go crazy with it all.

    MAD..??? being on a extremely small budget I am off the grid when it comes to the aftermarket goodies..etc. To me its important to make replicas of the families old vehicles if i can..? I have waited decades for these kits to come back for us all...and others. I have a very long way to go on the collection of them.

    The ones my family owned were that body style years...Id love to make replicas of them someday.

    Alan..I agree on the Dodge with you...the older grille and with the body trim restored for us please......they need the older grille and body trim back on them.

    I have no clue on where the colors went to. I got a can of Red super flake spray paint from our local auto zone store the Im tempted to try out on a old 60s 1/25th scale boat body i have though...looks like the real sparkling paint used on the bass boats to me..?

    id LOVE to have that but sadly I cant afford it even with out asking the price...bummer..!

    Nice Impala HT Snake...! I have that one but its in need of hard to find parts for it...body and glass are shot...bummer.

    Me... yesterday all day long at the doctors and hospital for testing....and I have to go back today for more and on and off all week long...

    Same here...LOL.. We put a few V-8s in some over the years also but most were just straight 6cyl cars with automatics. The 69 we had tossed a rod on us so we put a 302ci in her...fun..!

    Nice JC...! I have the factory stock 66 and 69 to restore once I can get a hold of the needed parts for them....we owned a few Falcons in the family over the years. If I can mine will be replicas of them we once owned.

    Very coll find..! I wish I could find the parts my old 61 wagon needs but might not be able to..? Needs the body,glass,bumpers...interior tub might not hurt it ether..? I am a wagon and 4 door nut just love them.

    Ours were straight 6cyl cars so mine need to be like they were for family owned replicas.

    LOL...!!! Good answer....LOL...! My dad and I owned a few Oldsmobiles that would be nice to make replicas of someday... 61 4 door 88 or Dynamic..? HT 65 88 HT 67,72 Toronado 64,68,70,72,73.? Cutlass...73..? was a Hearst Olds 63 Starfire wagon

    Some of the stuff mine needs might be able to as well but not everything sadly. I have all the cars they turned into stockers that need parts....Falcons,66 Impala HT,65 Olds 88 HT,66 Buick Skylarks from my dad sold collection. I have always liked the little Falcons too we once owned a few of them over the years in our family.

    I LOVE the old boxes...!!! I take them and put a thumb tack through the bottom box into the wall then slide the cover box on them....makes me smile just to sit and look at them at times. I use to have some really cool ones and for ones I do have but a tornado here took many of them and others got way too wet and damaged to save sadly. Very nice displays guys..!!!

    Nice Scott...! I have the 67? and 69 factory stock ones from my dads old collection I have been wanting to restore/repair once i find what they need.

    Sadly I had most of my old childhood models/promos/toys/etc. till 2011 when a tornado took most of them from me...liked to have killed me to loose them and about 75% of my dads old collection of them. I have been on the hunt for parts to repair them with ever since but on my very low income level its not easy and have had very little luck. I also had collected old model boxes,instructions,decals,etc. for 40+ years...so much for them. I have very little left of my childhood models/promos now...many great memories..kind of feels like they have been taken from me...?
