  1. NICE Steve...!!!! I wish I had your skills..LOL.. I have the same car but the body and glass are shot sadly...been wanting to get her restored. Decals..?...I need a few Ill never find for some I have...if I do they wont be able to be used without them coming apart on me.
  2. Carl buddy.... Lots of differences.... the original one(Chevy Mini Motorhome Open Road camper van) not a Dodge van has opening hood...camper version parts...window van side glass body side inserts. Im hoping to find replacement parts to my dads old one so I can build it as the camper version which it was....during the tornado here in 2011 parts got lost to it and many others he had where damaged, etc, or just gone. I have to try to save/restore what is left of them. I also need to find parts for his old early 70s Dodge cargo van and window van build ups now.
  3. Sadly I have this one from my dad sold collection that was damaged and parts lost during our tornado in 2011. Mine needs all the raised roof parts and all interior/exterior camper parts plus side window glass before I can restore it....I love this thing..!
  4. we too had many cool nice Pontiacs in the family once id love to be able to make replicas of.... 74 GTO 67,68,70,71,72 Grand Prixs 59,64,66,68,69,70,72 Bonneville/Safari wagons 58,63,64,68,69,70 Bonneville HTs 75 TA 70 Lemans wagon with factory GTO style nose 63 Tempest 73 Grand Am 76 Can Am Some of them I have but they need a lot of parts in order to do anything with them sadly.
  5. Very nice finds Ken..! The old Ertl 7040A is one I have been after for years now. Its a great kit I had one when they were new...most all the Ertl blueprint series kits were great.
  6. Nice wagons..! I love wagons of the 60s. been on a quest to build replicas of ones the family had owned over the years....did a 69 Plymouth 4 door wagon like one we had. Now on Pontiacs id like to build these we had once....59,64,66,68,69,70,72 Bonneville/Safari wagons....70 Lemans wagon with GTO style nose came factory that way. There are others Id like to make as well.
  7. Welcome Howard...! I too need to build due to health reasons..its great therapy even though I have been a life long builder/restorer and collector.
  8. Scott.... I hear you on that one. Even though I have been a life long builder/restorer and collector since my accident in 1996 I have found out building its great therapy helps keep my mind off the 24/7 pain and keeps me active to a point. I am the kind of person that needs to have something to do as well...that is one of the reasons I had always had 2 jobs when I could work. Since I got forced into early retirement due to disability from a car accident which was not my fault I was not prepared well enough and that makes things very tough all around but Ill never give up trying to build..cant imagine not building.
  9. I like it....I have been wanting to use a junker or parts kit to make a track crane with a grapple claw for some time from one.
  10. I dont have as many as most of you here but if anyone is worried about the fire hazzard just send some to me..LOL..
  11. One of the best pieces of advise anyone ever gave me is to treat every part as if it were a model itself....and building is no race..build at your own pace. I have had some builds take me over a month to get done...some longer.
  12. Now why couldnt Round2 have molded the 74 Cuda snap kit in this color..?....dang it..LOL..
  13. Yes it was... a real bummer...I have been wanting to build some 007 James Bond vehicles for some time now and make a nice little display for them.
  14. That there is the van I need parts to...side glass parts to one.
  15. As a Trans Am fan...I like it...!!!
  16. I finally got some plastic for Christmas this year....got the MPC Chrysler Hydro Vee boat and trailer kit....very cool...!
  17. Same to you all Dan...and the rest of my brothers in plastic...!
  18. Rick...very nice one...! As you know I love the late 60s Bonnevilles and once owned quite a few of them.
  19. Welcome Jeffery...! Sorry for your loss....building is a great way to pass the time I should know..LOL.. me..I have been into the life all my life.
  20. Merry Christmas to all my brothers in plastic out there....may your dreams be realized and health follow you all.
  21. Very nice work...! Just a stunning build. In my family we once owned a 70 Sport...72...73 Hearst Olds Cutlass.
  22. Nice...! I have been after one of those myself for years now...nice find. last one I had was the Testors reissued one many years ago.
  23. Same here... I get the ones I have because of the vehicle it is of. Curbsides have never bothered me one bit..sometimes I actually prefer them since most of my builds are factory stock anyway. yes there are times where a detailed chassis is better for the build but its never been an issue with me.
  24. I have built them before years ago but always liked their plastics...have a 61 Ford 4 door wagon I need a ton of parts for to restore.
