  1. I have had this happen from time to time before...My Revell Mercedes Benz Unimog snowplow truck kit was sealed but inside there were no tires or wheels for it...shame looks like a good kit. I also bought 3 65 Chevelle wagon kits....opening them I found 2 had 63 Impala HT kits in the box instead of the wagon kits...right from a hobby shop.
  2. I would as long as its a larger sized one and not a dinky one....there is lots of possibilities for use and most are built pretty decently. bad thing is mine would look like one to a point...LOL..and I do not think the wife would go for it.
  3. Mike buddy... Mine tolerates mine too...I think she does...LOL!...
  4. I have a friend that collects Hotwheels, etc. Ill check with him.
  5. Carl... Ill keep my eyes open for one anyway for you just in case buddy.
  6. Miles.... I hope you can find it somehow.
  7. Great to hear your getting better Don...hang in there. After my accident I had to learn how to do somethings over again or new ways to do them so I can kind of relate...be stubborn and persistent it pays off.
  8. Carl....Where were they sold at...Ill look around here for you buddy. I need to find a bunch of scale figures too...some are 007 James Bond and Mel Gibson as Mad Max like the first movie.
  9. The ones that get me the most are trying to sell parts even just one for the price you can go buy the same kit for....do they really think people are that dumb...???...of course someone will take them up on the offer... . I have no problem paying someone a premium for a hard to find part if its worth it. Glad I trade with people here.
  10. Welcome Bruce....we have a lot in common. I build mostly factory stock and same era big cars...been on a quest to build family owned replicas myself.
  11. Thanks Vince buddy....shame some people think they have to be like that...must have no self respect let alone for anyone else...nothing but a common burglar in the end in my book. There day will come.
  12. Ill second that....everyone have a great day...!
  13. Scott buddy....as long as your both good for each other and get along good its easy to have a long term relationship. Me and the wife have been together since about 1992 we both do not always agree with each other rarely do but we work together well for each other. be yourself its what she will end up with right..?
  14. Scott buddy...the 69 was a cool looking car but I prefer the 70 LTD...2 door,4 door, wagon any would make me happy for plastic. I have the 70 LTD 4 door HT promo but it needs about everything been crushed...bummer.
  15. Yes..! Now this one is what I am trying to find to build a replica of one I use to own....mine was a factory sold custom...thing was beautiful..!
  16. Howard....I also love those old Craftsman kits plus there is lots of promos that can be restored or rebuilt into something...some of my favorite subjects to collect and or restore.
  17. Those are just too cool...!
  18. I like some of the snap kits that are out there or were made at some point....they are what you make of them and many build into very nice replicas. For instance...Johan and AMT made some really nice snap kits...I am always happy to have more of them myself to tinker with.
  19. I do ...it was awesome...the LTD version looked much better...love to get some more of those.
  20. Eric... I have always used spray cans for my builds and try to hand paint as little as possible depending on the build.
  21. Id love to see this kit make a comeback and with the little trailer too...I have a old buildup of the MPC 68 and 69 that are missing parts,etc....these had a very cool looking body style to me and we once owned a 68 when I was about 7.
