I've had the Revell Wally Dallenbach Monte Carol (Woody Woodpecker) hanging around in my stash for a long time. I've decided to give it a whirl. I've never actually completed a NASCAR kit, although I've started plenty of them.
Anyway ... the picture on the box clearly shows the car running in the rain - complete with single windshield wiper, and what appears to be mesh covering the air ducts in the quarter window (and maybe even under the windshield). I am assuming rain tires are being used. So ... any thoughts on 1) how can I mimic this mesh? 2) does anyone even make Nascar rain tires? 3) how is the wiper even attached? 4) what other details might be present for a car run in the rain?
Lastly, does anyone have any reference pics of this particular car?
thanks!
