  1. Now that is cool! Who manufactured this kit?
  2. I guess still no word on the Randy Ayers board...?
  3. Nicely done. Got more pictures of the rest of the build?
  4. This is exciting. ...
  5. My concern would be that "less profitable divisions" may be what we all love - the plastic models. I suppose only time will tell...
  6. That is some impressive work there!
  7. Good stuff there! Sure wish that S-10 would be (re)released!
  8. That is beautiful work!
  9. I think the Monogram kit really scales a tad closer to 1/25 than 1/24 ...
  10. Interesting that the number appears to be made of electrical tape ...
  11. I suppose any reference pictures from this race would be helpful - they'd all have the right-hand fuel filler; stop light; wiper; etc. ... thanks!
  12. That's a drag! I was mostly interested in the paint scheme.
  13. For the fuel filler - it appears there is an indention where the fuel filler would normally be? For the other details you mentioned (taillight, defroster, wiper motor) - do you have any references I could see? My internet searches have not turned up much .... thanks.
  14. I've had the Revell Wally Dallenbach Monte Carol (Woody Woodpecker) hanging around in my stash for a long time. I've decided to give it a whirl. I've never actually completed a NASCAR kit, although I've started plenty of them. Anyway ... the picture on the box clearly shows the car running in the rain - complete with single windshield wiper, and what appears to be mesh covering the air ducts in the quarter window (and maybe even under the windshield). I am assuming rain tires are being used. So ... any thoughts on 1) how can I mimic this mesh? 2) does anyone even make Nascar rain tires? 3) how is the wiper even attached? 4) what other details might be present for a car run in the rain? Lastly, does anyone have any reference pics of this particular car? thanks! (Image borrowed from Mike's Decals!)
  15. That Lotus looks great! Most of the ones I've seen built sit way too high. Did you modify the suspension any?
  16. A true snake pit!
  17. Nice work and I'm enjoying seeing what you do with this old gem.
  18. This is the coolest thing I've seen lately!
  19. That Roadster version
  20. At least one of the releases of the S'Cool bus included a tinted, die-cut sheet of plastic. This was one of them. I think it really adds to the kit.
  21. That is beautifully built!
  22. I always enjoy seeing what you come up with!
