  1. The Tom Daniel's S'Cool Bus! I'd never built this kit before. I highly recommend it for a break from the ordinary. The old Monogram 924 Turbo. Gifted to my by my brother-in-law two years ago. I'd like to have another go at one of these kits. My attempt at a restomod. And I finally finished the Revell Eclipse from back when. I clearly have stance issues.. Good grief! I forgot I'd finished this one earlier this year! Between family (most important), tinkering in the garage, and that other time-consumer (work), it's hard to get much extended time at the bench. Thanks for letting me vicariously experience building by being on the board! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year
  2. I see potential, but I can certainly understand your frustration.
  3. I've been exploring the NASCAR section of the forum lately and just stumbled across this. So - bump! This is so very cool and well executed!
  4. That's shaping up nicely. The grille and the stance both look especially good. I have one of these in my stash, but the multi-piece body seems daunting.
  5. I had forgotten about those. How would one of the 1/25 AMT kits look beside one of the 1/24 Revell kits? Out of place or okay? thanks!
  6. Been working on a Revell Wally Dallenbach Woody Woodpecker themed kit from the stash. Of course this leads me to want to build a newer car or two for the shelf. Did anyone make a kit of the ugly, boxy, funky looking C.O.T. (Car of Tomorrow) from the mid 2000's in 1/24? Like this sort of thing:
  7. Very cool! I thought all of these fictional / throwback schemes were neat!
  8. Nicely done! The Washi tape is a great idea - I would not have considered that.
  9. I like it.
  10. What about the Revell glue kits of the '90's and such? I have quite a few of those in the stash ...
  11. I've seen some amazing builds here and I was wondering ... what do you guys do for lowering the Revell series of Nascar kits?
  12. I think it looks good. Can you share details on how you lower your Nascar kits?
  13. The Tamiya full details kits are of the 2nd generation RX-7 and not the first generation. Monogram's kit is a full detail of the earlier 1st generation RX-7. That said, I love seeing all of them built!
  14. I'm glad you bumped this to the top! Nice build!
  15. Nice buildup of a beautiful car!
  16. That is so sweet!
  17. Yep, blue. Looks best in blue. Nice work.
  18. Did a great trade with PorkChopPaws, aka Bear Brinkman! Class, he gets an A+!
  19. Any thoughts on removing the stuff without damaging paint?
  20. Thanks. It's not going to pass inspection until I fix that one tail light and the gas cap.
  21. I guess it's complete. I'm missing the gas cap and one of the brake lights - but I have a "Wanted" posting hoping someone has a junker they can spare parts from. The phone camera really brings out the mistakes. I was going for a "resto-mod" look.
  22. Vladimir Altamirano, also known as I'mPlan_B, is a great guy! Thank you for helping me out!
