  1. Hi All! Does anyone have suggestions as to what I could use over Tamiya synthetic lacquers for a clear coat? I've sprayed a car body with Tamiya Mica Blue, and I'd like to clear after applying decals; but the hobby store closest to me doesn't have Tamiya clear. They have other Tamiya spray lacquers, just not clear. Will Model Master clear lacquer work, or Danger! Danger, Will Robinson! ? thanks! Jonathan
  2. That does look good! But, where to get mesh, or satin, or anything else with the "right" (scale-ish) pattern?
  3. Has anyone attempted to create their own Carbon Fiber decals? Or perhaps mastered a painting technique that would closely mimic carbon fiber? I know there are some decal sheets out there, but I'm looking for low buck. And, in 1/24 or 1/25 scale, how much of the carbon fiber "weave" would actually be visible? Thoughts? Thanks!
  4. This gave me a smile, thanks for sharing!
  5. Nicely done. You don't see these built up very often. The old Gunze kit, correct?
  6. Has anyone used any of these? What were the results? Sometime ago, I picked up one of each - 2983 Multicolor Glitter Spray; 2985 Blue Flip Flop; 2986 Purple Flip Flop. I was wondering if anyone had any success - or failure - using any of these? thanks!! Jonathan
  7. You, Sir, are an artist! Very cool.
  8. That is so cool! It's like an alter-ego to the Tom Daniel's California Street Machine Corvette. Only....better somehow.
  9. I like that.

    Nicely done!
  11. Cool, a car typical of the era! It'd be great if you'd post a teaser pic of the car here with the link to your site. I'd expect you see more visitors.
  12. Nicely done!
  13. Very cool.
  14. This is looking pretty cool. I was fortunate enough to see the Atlantic at a car show here in NC back in the day. Think you can pull off the cool blue neon interior "dome" light that was in the concept? I like the Bugatti cue - it looks appropriate!
  15. Yeah, I think we're all interested!
  16. And you're going to cast copies to sell, making our work so much easier after all that you've put into this? Very impressive!
  17. I want to see that dragster of Joe's finished!
  18. Ditto on the four round lights! I'm looking forward to seeing this!
  19. I think it's really impressive!
  20. Well done. That kit is a challenge, but given its age, that is to be expected. That really looks great.
  21. The one on the workbench at the moment. Not my best, but still ..
  22. Joe is right - I've picked up a three over the years. One was BADLY warped, one I made a mess of, and one's lingering on the workbench now. The wheels - very nice. The rest - well... it's okay. Worth taking a whack at, but I'd hesitate to drop $50 on one for sure.
  23. Uhmmmmm...........Rotary. Very nice.
  24. Sweet! It's good to see your update!
  25. That is cool!
