Oh, that's cool! -
Beautiful work! I love seeing these built. I have managed to gather enough bits and pieces over the years to hopefully build one someday soon

Post your truck mockups.

Oh, that's nice! -
Really nice build! I guess I'm showing my age - but I really like the cars of this era, as compared to the newer ones. I know, I know .... things change, progress, etc., etc. Really beautiful work there!

Nice! Whether 2-n-1 or 3-n-1, I'll be glad to have a chance to pick up a CJ-7 -
Oh, that's nice! I have this in my stash and need to get to it

Echoing what others have already said - That is a stunning build. This is the old AMT kit? Is this the same that is part of the recent Mod Rod reissue? Amazing work.

With the two colors you have on this, once it's trimmed out with chrome, it'll be an eye-catcher for sure!

Oh, man! This is awesome!

What a beautiful build - I really like the carpet, it makes the car look real.

I'm glad you guys brought this one back up - what a beautiful build!

Taking a clue from Dennis Ezmerlian's beautiful Scout II build and Tom Geiger's comments, I'm going to attempt to create a more pedestrian seat for my Scout using parts scavenged from an old Chevy. But, as noted, I'm a slow builder and this will probably have to wait until tomorrow or this weekend. The seat option given in the kit is a little too "sporty" for what I have in mind.

*warning* I am a painfully slow builder, easily distracted by the next project My Brother-in-Law gifted me the AMT/ERTL Scout II for Christmas last year (2022). If you're familiar with the kit, it's pretty simple. But, there's no other Scout kit available to my knowledge. I was happy to get it. Right out of the gate, I knew that the very minimum thing I would do would be to fill the large gaps between the chassis and the body. In picking a color, decided to go with Tamiya's Coral Blue With a white top: I had this surf rack from some old Japanese detail set that I picked up years ago. I think this Scout is Beach Bound! I also shaved the door handles and plan to use Fireball's GM Truck handles. More to come. I hope ....

Got in a little time at the bench over lunch today - a rarity. Maybe I should make a WIP for this one. I botched the glue when attaching the rack, but I think I can fix that. Ages ago, I picked up a surfboard and rack set from a Japanese manufacturer. I think the roof on the Scout is removable and probably made of fiberglass ... but this seemed as good a model as any to use the surfboard accessories on. -
That washer bottle! Just that one detail makes this awesome.

Ohhhhh! I like it. -
That's a sharp looking build, and I appreciate your comments about your experience. I have this in my stash and debated on unloading it; but after seeing your build ... I think I need to build mine!
